Pretty rare intake these days. Believe they stopped making them in the 70s.

You got some badass shit man, not many out there that have this kind of knowledge let alone the vintage stuff, I really dig it, my old man started showing me when I was around 5yrs old, so about 30 some years ago, you and I talked about him not long ago, he since came around and gave me a hand for a few hours with my s10, it was a good day brother ❤

Cherish every moment ya can with your dad, because if ya take time for granted, you'll spend the rest of your life eat up by it. I wish me and my dad could have spent more time together, but the only common ground we had was drag racing and building engines. Beyond that we never spoke. I'd go years without seeing my parents, probably didn't talk to my dad 5 times in the last 30yrs. He was a hardcore military guy, I was a hardcore fuck up who rode with 1% MC clubs & doing criminal shit. So it put a wedge between us. My dad is currently dying of cancer and I still can't find time for him. It eats me up. He's old and I'm old and alot of that animosity never goes away. Life I'd full of regrets and the longer ya live, the more traumatizing shit ya gotta endure, like watching everybody ya know and love pass away untill it's your turn. Building engines keeps my mind occupied so I don't sit around thinking about all my dead friends & family and failures in life. Like having kids that want nothing to do with you. But that's another story. Life is short, try to make the best of it and let those you love know it, because sooner or later, there will be a last time you ever see those people.

My dad had me cleaning parts when I was about 4-5 yrs old. Been messing with the shit ever since. Got my first car at age 12, built my first V8 car engine at 12 also. Built 2-stroke MX bike engines before that. Dad had me on a dirt bike at age 5. Had a go cart at age 4. Spent my entire life being a motorhead. Even my mom had hotrods.

I was a kid of the 70s, so I remember when alot of this shit was still new. Spent every weekend at a dragstrip since I was a baby. My dad was pretty into drag racing and hotrods. He stopped racing in the 90s. He always had a bunch of cars sitting around and a building full of parts. He built early Camaros, Chevelles and a 55 Chevy, Old Cutlass's, 64-66 C-10s and 67-72 C-10s. He was also into motocross bikes and Choppers. 2 tour's in Vietnam changed him. Never was the same since. Got mean as hell. Made me grow up pissed, so I lived like there was no tomorrow. Hindsight is 20/20 they say.

4:56 rears with a turbo 400, holeshot converter. I worked at a Chevy dealership back in the day so I ordered everything but the block for a ZL1. ZL1 cam, this intake, trw/GM 11.5 -1 pistons, hooker big tubes...had a blast with it and wouldn't much touch it on the street lol 90/10 shocks and ladder bar rear hooked up nicely
