Fell in love with his voice 30 years ago when it was so raw and angry, like I was at the time. His voice is still so wonderful even as he has found peace within himself. These lyrics are so beautiful.

This hits right in the heart. Falling in love with a girl who I met in the Philippines (Palawan), I was locked down there in paradise due to mobility restrictions from Covid. I told myself I would never fall in love during this travel phase of my life whilst out of the UK. We shared magical memories together, some of the most lung exhausting laughs, and true care for eachother. We knew the sand timer was ticking when I had to eventually return home again, it was so painful to discuss the date that I would eventually have to leave but we both knew it was coming. We met in August 2020 and shared the time together until June 2021, if only she was here to reside next to me just like then and before. She would take away all of the gloom that I have around me back in this first world red-tape capitalist greedy miserable country. The distance is hard, it makes feelings dissipate into dust, love is not meant to be distant and it is hard. It seems so hard to promise a future with her when there are so many hurdles in my own life right now. I have plans to make it all work, but right now it just seems so hard to picture. The photographs and memories reflect on times of such joy, I've never seen so much happiness in my self. If that is what it takes to achieve happiness, perhaps I should leave the UK all together and sacrifice just to be with her. A simple, natural yet beautiful way of life.

Somehow Vedder has always sang about where I am in my life, it’s uncanny.

Nothing better than hear this breath of 90’s Eddie made nowaday. A fine master piece.

I have never been a huge Pearl Jam fan but Eddie knocked it out of the park with this song. I relate and live the lyrics. I think one of the two or best three songs that hit me in the heart and put me on the floor. And then I want to share with someone else to see if they feel the same way. Great music in action. Eddie Vedder’s “solo voice” always reminds me of his work on “into the wild”. And I absolutely loved the “Into The Wild” soundtrack. So, hearing Eddie Vedder’s “solo voice” is always a treat. Make sense? I dunno. It makes sense to me.

That was so beautiful Eddie Vedder, of course it made me cry you have a way of doing that since the beginning. Your wonderful voice always calms me and always goes straight to my heart!! Love the song and love the man who sings it!! 😊💓🤘✌️

I'm usually not typically one to post long, drawn-out comments on videos, but, man... This song couldn't have been released at a better time. My wife and I are celebrating our 2-year Anniversary today, the only problem is, due to visa requirements on her part, we're required to spend 2 years (now 1 year, 6 months and 12 days) thousands of miles apart. Our only forms of communication are video call and messaging. While daily communication is a lifesaver, I miss her so much every single day. Songs like this give me hope for our future and make me incredibly excited for the day I get to see her again. Thanks, Eddie.
