i know that entertainment is fun and entertaining but it is drifting you out from the presence of God and that is 1 one satans's lie..God loves you repent and trust in him and ask for forgiveness before its too late Romans 10:9 if you declare with your mouth that "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead you will be saved ask for forgiveness before its too late humble yourselves to God cause God gives grace to the humble but opposes the proud so dont be proud and humble yourselves to the Lord and ask for forgiveness before its too late :) the Bible also says that the FEAR of the LORD is the beginning of new wisdom God loves you repent of your sins and ask for forgiveness before its too late you should be thankful actually that you are still breathing andGod still gives you oxygen to breath and have lungs to breath, God still gives you the chance to be his servant and to follow him.. well if you dont want to be a servant you already are a servant its either you are a servant ofthis world the lusts, cursing and other stuff that God doesnt want or you are a servant of light a person who follows God and loves everybody and doesnt take advantage of anyone well you pick if you want to be a servant of light just say that i repent of all my sins i renounce all the unbleief and sin and evil spirits in me and i confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and i Believe in my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead i ask for your forgiveness Lord please forgive me of all my sin and trespasses thankyou for forgiving me Lord in Jesus name i pray Amen. and then you are now be saved its that easy and now when you die you are now going to Heaven and not on hell where you are tormented there forever by fire and worms that doesnt die and go into your bodies... may God touch your heart and may you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.. Amen God Bless you and your family may God be with you i pray that whoever you are reading this that may you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and make a change in your family and in the world may God be with you whoever is reading this God Bless you :)

My vocal teacher and guitar teacher both independently used this as warm up before performances and classes and had been using it since they were kids long before 2006. In fact "The Replacements" (1979) have the earliest reference to this I can think of. But yeah definitely not stolen just forever commonly used because I and V sound so nice together.

People who dont like compex music, long tracks, albums or dont wanna go digging for gold, will always choose some pop single playlist, catchy, not over 3 and half minute listening, not too hard to.understand.... That narrative is losing traction so fast, they always want to make everything political and all about race. It is just a culture swag war among people of color and white people which intertwines sometimes. imho Ed Sheeran so irritated the last seconds. Dutch journalists are notorious in doing this type of disrespectful behaviour.

@@James-hh1lq This is an incredibly naive excuse. Ed (for example) can sing well, has a very distinctive voice and puts together some otherworldly songs both lyrically and musically. It's a talent and it's great. It's a shame that people so easily degrade today's Pop artists because they think things were better back then - or that more "ambitious" music is better just because it's physically harder to play. For example, I play metal on drums - nothing is easier in my experience than playing metal. (in general). Maby if u are Matt Garstka and playin prog technically advancet than yes, but otherwise nope. It's not hard. U know what hardest thing about music, what many musicans can't do? touch, expression, feeling, emotions. Think about this different way. The more simple song is, the more u have to give from yourself (emotions, feeling, touch) to be great. Thats why a lot of pop artists are geniuses. Sayin' that pop artists have "easy" job or u dont have to be talented/be great musican is the most ignorant statement eva.

@@darrellbruh1335 Yes, he did. You obviously don't know anything about music yet you try to make fun of people. There aren't unlimited amont of keys and chord progressions but there are A LOT of keys and chords yet pop "musicians" choose 4 simple chords and make their whole discography out of those. There are 12 major keys, minor keys, pentatonic, arabic, hungarian, byzantine, phrygian and A LOT of other keys and their mods. 12 minor chords, major chords, diminished chords, augmented chords, dominant seventh, altered dominant, sus chord... I think that's enough. Listen to some Dream Theater for example, the guitarist can make a song from any weird chord progression and it sounds beautiful. You just have to try to be creative but those pop musicians are earning more money the easy way so why would they if they don't care about art, right? Only a true artist would care. They're all money chasing music industry workers, which is okay if they're happy.

@@santacloud01 No I don't know anything about Music, I only studied privately, college educated and University with a Degree in composition for 4 years and playing music for 12. He didn't expose shit, it's called EASY LISTENING for a reason, your attempt to try hard and list a bunch of scales that don't even apply to western harmony is also baffling. You also clearly don't know what you're talking about, Western Harmony is based off of the Major/Minor scale. a I-IV-V serves the same harmonic function in Bb Major as it does in C Major, so please. Try again. Also the last time I checked Dream Theater aren't in the Pop music hit lists so why would I care about their progressions? People have a choice to listen to basic pop music, it's hardly 'exposing' is it? Jazz standards are built around various forms of ii-V-I, is that exposing Jazz? Blues 12 bar is I7-IV7-V7, is that exposing blues? 2 extremely popular forms of music, just stop. You're embarrassing yourself.

@@darrellbruh1335 Those scales are indeed used in western music (not pop of course but a lot of rock/metal/blues/jazz bands/artists use those scales). Just because you use an exotic scale doesn't make your music eastern all of a sudden when you're still using every other aspect of western music rules. Of course Dream Theater is not in the pop music hit lists, that's why I named them, there are almost no variety in pop music so I can't name one in pop, that's the point. I didn't say people shouldn't listen to pop because it's easy, on the contrary, I said that's fine. It's exposing how easy it is, I didn't say it's wrong or anything. If you "expose" jazz chord progressions, you'll see that it's not easy so there is nothing to expose. Jesus, did you even read anything I wrote?

It's the rhythm, the strumming patterns that makes it sound impressive. The chords are simple and all the same but you can make a song sound amazing with the most basic chords if your strumming is top notch. If you have a really good singing voice then even better. I play the same size guitar as Ed, he uses a 3/4 Martin though, and I use a Taylor GS Mini. I love it, it's much easier to play with my little hands but it makes a bigger sound that my other guitar which is a full size electro acoustic.

@illogicalrelish They aren't quite the same four chords. You will find that when people do this, they are transposing the orignial song. They are the same gap between the chords. Using the Nashville number system it is 1, 5, 6, 4. So In C Major for instance it is C, G, A, F. But you could still sing the same songs ed sheeran sang here behind those chords other than the chords he played (Em, C, G, D)

The rest is mainly Am and Em with a Dm and G now and again but there's a section that's got F in so... F that 😅 for now anyway 😉

@@Pellemain well its never too late, my dad has played the guitar since he was 15 and I had the chance to learn from him as a kid but wasn't interested at all. I wish I'd known if I took music in high school that I'd get out of other lessons to go practice my instrument! I'd have had a load of good guitars, acoustic and electric at home too. Anyway, later on I regretted it and now my dad has Reynauds syndrome and we don't have the best relationship either. However, we were getting close again about a year ago and he gave me an acoustic guitar and I started taking lessons. I can play loads of songs with those 4 chords, C, G, D and Em. I can play other chords just not quick enough to play in a song, its takes me a few seconds to get my fingers in the right place but it'll come naturally in time. I'm 34, was 33 when I started playing and I love it. You can learn online but I needed someone physically there to show me what I was doing wrong and right etc. You really should buy a cheap acoustic, learn a cadd9 (an easier way of playing a c), G, D and Em and you'll be able to impress everyone with really not much skill at all 😅 saying that, other people struggle to sing when they're having to remember the strumming pattern but I didn't. Before I started lessons I just thought people made it up, I didn't know there was certain patterns for different songs. I thought you just went down, up, down, up, lol
