One guy, his guitar, and a couple of loop pedals = far better than all other "live performances" filled with gimmicks, dancers and backup tracks. Ed, you're a genius and you absolutely nailed this. Much respect.

Watching Ed Sheeran perform "Bloodstream" at these awards shows is almost like a religious experience. He slayed at the Brits and again at the BBMA's. He has me mesmerised every time. Lol! @ Taylor Swift at the end whispering "Oh my god" then proceeding to look like the proudest person in the room. Ted Sweeran feels.

IM SO GLAD HES FINALLY able to perform at an awards show with his loop pedal and his signature abusive guitar shredding hahah. it's seriously great it's like seeing him in concert but now the general public sees how unique he really is and has been all these years. thanks again Ryan!!!

Yeah you are so right. Seeing this performance had me so confused. I thought he was lip-synching and faking playing the guitar. I googled and read about his loop pedal and I was immediately blown away. I've never seen it before and it was so frigging cool to see him essentially building the song as he was playing it. Since then, I've been addicted! This is the performance that converted me and I come back and watch it a few times a week because it's just so Damn good! I don't know how anyone could not be a fan after seeing this. It's perfection!

This is the performance that had my jaw on the floor. I’d never seen ed play live before. Watching him expertly perform with just him, his guitar, and some pedals is simply breathtaking

I've never seen a person describe a high so good. Not just the lyrics and the music, but also the in-crescendo this song has, is a perfect description of drug high! Amazing performance, amazing song, amazing artist!

when i first saw this, i deadass got chills and a shiver up my spine from that exact part. i was in complete awe.

I love when the camera cuts to other artists and they're just vibing. They're just hyping up their fellow artists (made me smile when it cut to Taylor knowing they're good friends and she's probably so proud of him)

It wouldn't matter to Ed if he was performing in front of one person or a million, he does this because it's what he loves doing. You can really feel it in his live performances. I always feel like he's not performing for other people, he's doing it for himself, lost in his own world, and we just happen to be witnessing it. Once in a generation talent.

Ed is such a special performer and it makes me happy that people are finally getting the opportunity to see how he actually plays live... being at one of his shows is a gift and I think that if you're a fan of him at all, you NEED to see him live, at least once because he is one of the best artists I've ever seen live.

Ed Sheeran is easily one of the most talented artists of our generation. Definitely the real deal wow.

Ed has to be my favorite artist, just because he's so talented and genuine. I feel that if I would see him in person he's the type of person to go to bar with and have a beer... I saw him live last September, and it was great! as soon as his break is over and anounces where his next show is at I am 100% sure I'm going to buy a flight and ticket just to see him.

Still gives me chills everytime

Saw him a few years back at Wembley. Went in not being much of a fan or expecting much and I was in fucking awe watching this guy. Him performing Bloodstream at like midnight in the pitch black at Wembley was a fucking magical experience

My god Ed. I'm sitting here gaping at my computer. I don't...I can't... So much beauty I just saw. The voice, the guitar, beat, how it all melded into one, and the performance he gave, how heartfelt and passionate he was. Say whatever you want about Ed, but you can't ever claim that he isn't passionate about this.

There we go. This song sounds SO much better live than recorded in a studio. Saw this live and I got shivers down my spine, never having heard this song before.

a true artist, respectful, no scandal, and abundance of talent

I am an oldie, a Boomer, and a huge fan of the music between 1963 & 1987, after that everything seemed to go downhill ! The music created in those years has had a lasting effect and influence on everything that has come afterwards ! Some of the music & artists these days can't hold a candle to those Iconic bands ! But Ed Sheeran has the skills and the talent that matches the excitement of that era, and is head & shoulders above most musicians today ! Back in the day, musicians Wrote, Produced, and Played the tracks, Played real instruments, and didn't cheapen their Talent with choreography, flashy lighting and productions (at least, not until they played a huge concert in front of their fans) ! But Ed Sheeran emulates the old school Talent, and BOY, can he sing ! 🇨🇦 LOL
