I can confirm that it has the same frame, axle, and bumper as HSP/RGT Rock Cruiser and FTX outback
One of the best reviews I have seen on KZread for any product, you covered everything about this truck

Very cool piece you just did man informative well thought-out. Thank you very much
Nice video!!! Great overview!
Another great video bro, keep it up!
They tyres are really nice, i like a change from extreme mud tyres on every rig

especially for the money ! - Und "günstig" auch noch !
looks pretty cool
Excellent excellent review 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I have the temper it has the same battery. I use it 1 hour a day it lasts me 6 to 7 days
I think the flexibility on the chassis is not a big issue as this rig at it's weight and what it will be doing would never see enough stress or force to cause a negative effect. in scale form he probably put a few tons of twist on that chassis...
have to say with ECX you seem to get alot for your money.

Randy Wilson Jr. yes I’ve had my ecx torment for almost 4 years and it has been crashed driven on the rain gotten submerged even tuned over by a car and it still drives straight and it will never disappoint me and it is still very fun even when u have an arrma Mojave
Wow nice car bro.
i think i heard the tamiya CC01 bodies will fit
hello beard... We've had one sitting at the hobby shop for weeks. No bites. To many Axial die hards by me. I do want one as I have a pretty cool body that I know will fit the wheelbase.
Must say to anyone thinking of getting into the hobby of rc cars, imo! It is far better to save some more and get a better rtr as with most models like this i have found that by the time you have to splash out for upgrades due to breaks!, which will happen with a model such as this right from the getgo, it really is worth waiting until you have saved for something that starts you off on the good foot over just getting into it, breaking stuff a lot and then having to really spend sometime actually repairing them! It can be very daunting for first time buyers when something goes pop!! And it will!! to fugure out and send for parts to do the maint yourself, unless you are a mechanic or similer background!! I got a Rustler vxl for 50 quid from someone and after adding some new wheels,tyres and lipo!! And the much needed wheelybar and rpm front bump, after grinding a 12mm wheel hex pin down and tapping that into the hole where the main drive pin on the slipper shaft goes i am very happy with how it has turned out, as soon as i put a lipo in it, it kept snapping the standard hollow slipper pins within minutes, but other than that one mod it is the strurdiest little basher and much fun,,, i have several others! One and HSP pro brontosuarus, i know, hsp!! But i upgraded fully to alu and it is exactly the same as what you guys call Redcat volcano pro but near full alloy upgrade so being my pride and joy i kinda just use it for rallying and in a big dirt carpark,, but the Rusty!? Haha, it gets smashed about a good bit and i would say thats a good rtr basher for anyone who aint sure,, 👍
looks like a really good beginner rig.
My charger takes 40 mins to charge it even with my aftermarket battery which is a 1750 nimh. It’s an aftermarket charger for $25 it is super good
Awesome video thanks for the info
I bought an ecx barrage. I took the rubber stops off the rear shocks for more flex. Any upgrade suggestions.
Flex in a 4x4 chassis is not a bad thing it adds to articulation . If it was a track car it would be an issue.
I was looking at this but interested in the rumored Traxxas crawler..RC Car Action made a post on FB so it seems to be a real thing. Might have to get one and put my Hilux cab on it. Cheers!

Tony E yeah i'm interested to see what people think of the traxxas offering. hopefully it's not a lump of plastic.

humble rc The frame rails appear to be plastic, I want to like the portal axles but questioning their longevity. Seems like a decent truck overall. Not a fan of the stock servos those would be the first to go. I want to know how exactly the diffs lock/unlock

Yeah I noticed that after I had made this post. It looks like a decent truck, definitely can't wait until Traxxas officially announces it
can you do a running video on the speed and tourque and on the rocks please because im interested in getting it

trust me its good.
how does this compare size wise to the tamiya and mst trail rigs?
do you know any one that makes costume body cause I want a 41 to 42 power wagon but can't find them
Actually gen 2 was the one I was looking at
These axles on this truck. Can they be converted to make a 6x6 set up? I was thinking about using this Barrage chassie set up for a build I had in mind, Thanks and big thumbs up :-)

+RC Overload can you give me the link or email me where you got the gun metal grey panels on the axial yeti
3 in (75mm) plastic body shocks
Hi there, I want to replace the servo with a waterproof higher torque metal gear one - any idea what servo I should choose? Thank you in advance

+Billimono ill be doing an upgrade video soon on this truck. And im hoping to try out a new servo. So ve on the look out for it.
What about comparison to the tamiya CCO1? Question a 110 scale buggy be turned into rock crawler? And for anyone to answer? I have a cen racing nitro to convert ep

Barrage would fare much better than the CC-01 hands down. CC-01 is geared towards light trails.
The esc looks the same as my vatterra blazer, wonder if it is.
@slick2500

It looks like the standard Dynamite esc that Ecx runs in their brushed 1/10 scale stuff. If so then no 3S lipo.

Its 3s rated. Ive ran it in my buggy for over two years
do you think it will come as a kit with a 540 motor. the motor would give more options.
@michaelordonez174

Warwick Campbell I doubt it will ecx doesn't really do kits however, I've been looking at mine and I think you might be able to put an scx10 transmission in it but I'm not sure yet bc I haven't tried it

Will the tamiya unimog body fit this truck? Will it be too big?
@RCOverloadYT

+Billimono honestly not sure. I know some of the Stampede bodies do fit.
so I think it would be a good buy for my son that is 7 write

Ya its a great first crawler, how ever the newest verson has a lot of improvements on it verses the one in this video. Dose not cost much and lets you know if crawling is what you want to get into or not.
All it needs is a jeep yj body
Hun guy
overload wtf man... 7 min untill you show the rc. wtf.

A good reviewer always covers everything that comes with the product... So its good that he goes this route vs just going to the truck and people who know nothing about rc and are interested, it gives them complete info to make a sound choice... that said, that is the demographic this vehicle is designed for. That said excellent job and hopefully it gets more people into the hobby
