Even when you mock it up, you never know how it will truly come together in real life. I was so glad with this one, especially with that tricky color.

Wow, what an episode! An Ingrid, Rachel, and Krystal sighting to start. 💞 So many DIY's strategically used in this vid... More than the coffee table for sure. Mark came in clutch as the handyman. After getting a journalism degree, I started our interning/writing/editing at decor magazines. But, honestly, I’ve just been a lifelong cheap whore who likes to DIY and consumed a ton of DIY content, books, etc. So…self-taught with that help of the internet.

I love animals. They're a good judge of character. So I really enjoyed seeing how comfortable they were with you in their home. And I absolutely loved this episode/makeover! So gorgeous!!!

THANK YOU for giving me the name for the style I like and I never could find anything. So I always loved Boho but with a mixture of golden accents and stuff and I could never find the word for it... It is Bohemian regency. PERFECT!

I’m so glad! Some people also call it Boho Glam. (You can search Pinterest for that.) But yeah, basically just add gold/metals/lacquer and some glam textures (velvet/fur).

Can’t stop won’t stop when it comes to gold frames

When I first moved into my home, I painted my living room cranberry. Including the ceilings. I loved when I turned on the lamp it gave the room a beautiful glow!

I love Mary Lynn!! Chloe from 24 is one of my favourite ever tv characters ‘Get me the schematics Chloe!’ ‘Sure thing Jack!’😄 Love how she was helping too!! LOVE IT ALL! That niche cabinet and the market place cabinet are solid anchors in the room. The wall color and that Moroccan mirror just sing. I'm in love with those sconces, they remind me of a slingshot:). BTW that is the best tip on how to pre-install and lay out your art on your gallery wall I've ever seen. No favorites in this makeover except for the clever DIY Ikea rattan side tables - brilliant! and the coffee table makeover. Thank you for the inspiration and clever DIY ideas.

CHLOE! Mary Lynn Rajskub is the only one/thing I remember from 24 besides the occacional torture scene. And you really have outdone yourself here. Veeery cozy makeover. Also like the schoolfriends sleepover vibes whenever you are painting with girlfriends (but really hope you did not really have to sleepover due to 4 coats of paint ;-))

Thanks so much for the razorblade tip. Brilliant! I love the "support doggie," and the "cat inspector." My friend painted her wall deep burgundy. It took four coats, but it wasn't Benjamin Moore. I don't know which excited me more. Was it the spectacularly rich, yet incredibly inviting results of this makeover, or the steep learning curve of DIY's. Subscribed and greatly appreciated.
