Gilmour improvises a bit more & jams more on pompeii version-I like the pompeii version more ! I remember smoking hash at my friend's house watching Pompeii concert haha

The QUESTION I originally asked was WHY do you THINK the RECORDINGS are in DIFFERENT "KEY" as in SHARP OR FLAT. Wright uses electronic keys so you really can't tune them...I was playing along with the VHS of Echoes and then went to the Studio CD and realized they are not in the same tuning...Sort of WEIRD...LOL

adrian crutch The Pompeii version was slightly sped up after being recorded in order to adjust it to the framerate of the film itself.

adrian crutch Yeah that's really annoying. Luckily, someone on KZread uploaded the videos at the original pitch.

Either i've learned (and played w/ several different music ensembles/casts) this in a different [possibly admittedly erroneous] key, and its incorrect, or this fine gentleman is wrong, not sure, i'd have to go back & watch an original PF version to be absolutely positive.... Either way, good instructional video, informative and fairly well done, thanks for posting, man.!
