Don't know if you've read the Lion's new book. But it's implied that The Emperor may want The Lion to revive Sanguinius. We also know it's possible because he didn't sell his soul to the Chaos Gods like the traitors did. And Malcador also mentioned it was possible to bring a primarch back given enough time. Also Sanguinius's body is fully preserved in a tomb on Baal.

There was more ambiguity in other primarchs death/disappearance. But not Sangiunius. He was slain by Horus. No coming back from that.

Throughout this book there’s some great descriptions of Angron sparing over the dust choked skies of Terra like a falling star. The damage to the planet is so great and the air is so clogged that seeng more than a dozen feet in front of you is impossible. But above the battlefield there is a constant burning red prick of light that is always visible - Angron

The ninth Legion befor reunion with Sanguinius was called the Revenant Legion. They were famous and dreaded for their hunger for Blood. In one of the Books a Ritual is described where one legionnaire eats parst of a fallen Captain if i remeember correct. Because of the Omophagea Implant every Space Marine can see the memories of the person they are eating. In the discribed Ritual the legionnaire basically takes over all the memories and character traits of his Captain and even his name.
