I'm not sure when the lore was updated, but Periclitor the Forsworn was defeated by Chief Librarian Mercaeno of the Howling Griffons. Later Mercaeno himself was defeated by Eumenes of the Soul Drinkers.

I disagree. The accents are great and they help to distinguish between the characters.

Fugging "ko lo nol" Learn to pronounce military ranks if you're going to read military fiction. You can say Leftenent instead of lieutenant, but even the queen herself pronounces it kernel.
