2:49 He has been hurt in so many ways but nothing can compare to when he lost his wife and daughter. The blades of chaos caused him to suffer greatly and he did not want to feel such pain again. But when the life of his son and the last of his family is at stake he'll gladly embrace regret, sin and loss all so his son can live. 1:44 Bruh…..The feels man….I don’t even own a PS4 or 5, but as a diehard God of War fan….This was Deeper than the Pits of Helheim and Tartarus and Had more weight than the Burden of Atlas. Think about it, the sky’s blood red, the winds are violently billowing through Midgard and every animal in sight is running into their dens like something is coming and is gonna leave a trail of death and destruction in its wake. Then it all comes full circle…..Once Kratos slides back those floorboards and pulls out that old spartan flag, we knew EXACTLY what was going on. That’s why this had so much weight and depth. Cause the very thing he was trying to bury because said “things” had taken so many lives in the past, and now he’s has to dig it back up because there’s no other option. His battleworn hands shutter at the very thought of picking them up again, but with that one fateful phrase he smashes through that mountain of guilt that was crushing him as easily as he passed through that apparition of Athena. The Rage Reignited, with a new source burning at its core, not hatred for petty gods that only take, but love for the only family he has left. The Monster was reborn with a new, righteous purpose. And no God could save anyone that stands in his way.

@@RunikO_ Another piece of Character Development I saw goes back to the fact he had to wield the Blades of Chaos once again. After the fight through Helheim ends, he continues his trek with Atreus whilst still wielding them. Take note, this could've been a one-off sequence! He could've put them away after he saved his BOI. But NO, he fights on using those blades not only to continue being strong for Atreus, but to prove to himself that HE'S in control. Not some Olympian stringing him along for their own benefit or amusement, and not an obsession with vengeance either. HE'S the one swinging those flaming blades with every bit of Godly strength he has. Proving that while he can unleash the monster, he's still on the path to becoming human AND a good God. *Chef's Kiss* PEAK Character Development!

Hells to the YES. A powerful male character doesn’t have to be an engine of destruction fueled by rage or some fuckboy on a quest of cheeks. They CAN be human! They CAN develop as people as people! They CAN have emotional turmoil! And they CAN be motivated by genuine love for someone! Be it their child, sibling, or significant other! Or they can just have a truly righteous cause to fight for! And 2018 Kratos is EVIDENCE that this is possible! What happened to these kind of male protagonists, man?! Bring them back out to join the Alpha Females of games! They’re MORE than deserving.

I was also busy studying for my upcoming bar exam and the Office sent me some workload even if I had Covid. I listened to this and it just fueled my rage. I was so angry that I feel so down because of the sickness and isolation but I remember that I cannot afford to lose time and my life over some fucking virus and shit. Listening to this, thinking what would Kratos have done if he were in my shoes, I ignored the pain and kept struggling. Just passed the bar, hoping I can get some cash to earn back the time and money and sacrifices lost to pay for bills and to give myself and my pops some form of monetary relief. Thanks music composer and youtube poster. This music helped me get angry alot and kept me pushing forward despite of hardships.

Athena- There's nowhere you can run, Spartan. Put as much distance between you and the truth, you cannot be someone that you are clearly not: Teacher, husband... father. But there is one unavoidable truth: You cannot change. You will always be... a monster.😈 Kratos- I know... But I am your monster no longer. 😠 Me- You tell her, Kratos! 😎

Am i the only one still annoyed that they were the blades of chaos and not exile? Especially since he is in well...EXILE? Kinda wish that when you start going ham on the combat with the blades that bear put in some KRATOS stings in the music like the original trilogy.

As for the blade of chaos the book says they where lost when killing Ares so when kratos killed zeus he looked down and found the blade of chaos ,he tried throwing them of mount olympus 3 times, the fist one e throw it off and it returned to him,the second time he tried but they returned,in the 3 time when he throws the blades they returned but with a giant tsunami, kratos was launched through the tsunami and when he wakes up he in an dark sands island and them he looked around and found the blade of chaos next to him,he is forever cursed to have these blades, they are the mark of the terrible sin he committed, sorry for bad english.
