@@AntiMasonic93 No one complains when people in NYC sell their food stamps for 50cents cash for every $1 of food stamps. People don't take account information they take the card numbers and pin when you send people to buy things with your debit card becausyouur are too lazy to go to the store and start being too trustworthy by giving yourheir debit card until it's too late. THIS IS A BIG GRIFT FOR MORE MONEY AND A WHOLE WELFARE SYSTEM IS BEING CORRUPTED BY LIES AND FRAUD FROM THE PEOPLE USING THESE BENEFITS AND SHOULD BE DRUG TESTED BEFORE THEY RECEIVE GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE.

I get texts my EDD account is suspended seemingly every 2-3 weeks with a request to verify, yet I never do. Aside from fact I never verify, I don't even have one. They've been trying to scam me since 2020.

I'm disabled, live below poverty and still I don't qualify for food stamps or medi-cal. Yet I have medical bills I can't even pay right now. I've always believed welfare is a broken system. Fraud in the welfare system has always been around.

I would replace all the EBT cards with monthly government checks. A person would have to go to a bank and deposit one of those checks or sign up for Direct Deposit. Thieves love gift cards and EBT cards. That money is gone forever if a thief can figure out how to spend it.
