So sorry to hear that, I know the feeling, I am dealing with a re-occurrence of my Prostate cancer, this hobby helps me keep my mind off it.

Thanks Al, that was a first for me.

I just rebuilt 5 magnatraction cars this past Saturday. I enjoy working on them. Hope someone chimes in and offers some thought on what keeps blowing the fuse. Will- 🏁

It was the pickup shoes, After adjusting them it stopped blowing the fuse.

Replace your fuses with auto resetting breakers. If you are using an automotive style fuse block (standard two blade fuses), you can get 5A direct swap-out breakers for a few bucks each. If you need the fuse block, the 6 circuit blocks go for around $12 online. No more buying or hunting for fuses. You can get manual reset breakers even cheaper if your fuse block is in easy reach.

Thanks BigRalph, I will look into that. My fuses are the inline tube glass type old school fuse. A resetting breaker sounds like a better option.

Thanks Johnny, the clear plastic are Plexiglass barriers that I got from Viper Scale Racing, they come with mounting clips that you screw into your table top. Viper sells them in different sizes from one inch to four inches high, I went with the three inch size.

Anyone convert drag car into oval or road race car.. thinking of doing minor body customize, removing wheelie bar and putting bigger tires on front
