The tape on the magnets is a slick trick. Many of mine are loose. Not anymore. Thanks a lot!

Love watching your vids bro👍....been subscribed for about a year or so now and have learned a plethora of info on my Aurora slots. It's awesome seeing the passion and dedication that you have towards the hobby. Anyway....🤔there is something I watched you do in this clip that brought back some bad memories. Those little Dremel wire wheels are a fantastic tool for hobbies but can't be trusted. I found that out the hard way when I wound up going to the hospital to have an eye surgeon remove one of those strands of wire out of the center of my cornea. Had to go around looking like a pirate for a couple of weeks🤣.... please dude...do yourself a favor and put something between the wire wheel and your eyes like a plexiglass shield or safety glasses. It's a real scary feeling when you think you're going to lose your eyesight.

A good old 1,1/2”x2,1/2” old fashioned pink pencil eraser from my sons old elementary school pencil box works wonderfully at a fraction of the cost. Low cost needle files and some other jewelry tools I’ve had for decades work great as well. I do have a foot pedal controlled Fordam flexible shaft machine from my jewelry making days that works quite well. My mom got it for me for Christmas. My black and decker brand dremel works well also. I’ve learned a few recent tricks of my own after tinkering with over 75 of these so far, about 1/2 of them are non mag chassis with mean green arms. I still haven’t bought a Dyno yet because I don’t hold racing events on my set up. I just run what I brung. And it’s always enough, 😉. Nice video. Some day I may get a Dyno. After some super ii, s first. You will be very surprised what a squirt of CRC QD Electronic Cleaner will do and some good jelly rear tires! Motor brushes are very important I’ve learned as well. And OHMS on each pole of each armature. Hop up arms!!

When I would buy a brand new AW car I would put a dab of whitening toothpaste on the top gears and let that run for a little white to get everything niclely polished. Then clean it out with a toothbrush and warm water. It really made the cars much more quiet and stable.

Use a plastic gear drill holes in it and it is superior to any brass gears.Even if it's not drilled its still superior.

All of my magnatraction cars have plastic idler gears.I find that brass gears are heavy and slow the cars noticeably.Just like real performance cars weight and friction are the enemy of magnatraction cars.

Same here, but sometimes you have to experiment with different gears to see which ones work the best with each other. It sure helps with squealing and buzzing.

I met an older man in Houston back in the 90s that had a garage and a room in his house with probably 4,000 cars 300 complete tracks and he was selling it.I bought a box full of super2 parts, four complete super2s and five quadralams two are on the gear plate with risers. The other lams are two are gold but I have two green lams one was installed on a Afx gear plate by machining the gear on the shaft and putting a Afx gear and the other is in a tjet.I lost contact and was never able to find his number or address.I paid $475 for the cars and parts some of those are still in original packages. The older guys have everything but they're passing away everyday. I didn't buy more stuff and I kick myself everyday. So if you need the original Afx stuff get it before they're gone.

Your dyno number , is that just an amp meter ? Isn't that just telling U that your drawing more or less amps ? How do U kno what the rpm of the motor or wheel is to kno if U gained or lost motor rpm ? U dont . . .
