When I was a kid the noise of the cicadas was deafening. It was back in the 70s and 80s. I very rarely hear them. Brisbane Australia. Cheers Graham

Just because people have youtube channels doesn't mean what they say is true. If you ever went to a local reseller meet up like I have the stories are totally different.

My light bulb experience I had a neighbor the had a case of 100 Watt GE Bulbs 4 Packs & gave them too me & everyone sold quickly.

Yes lightbulbs! I bought a huge lot from an auction house, a hardware store went belly up. No one else wanted them, so I got them CHEAP! They sell, I have had 2 buyers who bought 12 & 20 boxes, because exactly as you said, they aren't being made anymore.

Actually I saw there is one online site that is still authorized to make them. But overall you're right - they are a great sell. When I learned they were not being carried in regular stores I picked up a big lot and I still use these today. LEDs are not healthy!

NIce. We play Paradise Valley more than Rancho Solano. Eagle Vines also in Napa.

I used to live in Fairfield and am now in the central valley. I too am a state retiree with free medical. If you move out of state you might have to pay however. Can't wait to get out of California regardless. North Carolina is Top 3 on my list of possible new homes. Tennessee and Arizona are also the list.

Woods in SC are full of Cicadas, in fact they all were singing together so loud it sounded like a steam pipe leaking and folks called the police. What'd they find? Cicadas, 1000's of them in harmony.

Cicadas finally left Alabama and I sure was glad. They were so loud and there were so many of them. And if you tried to get them off of you, they would cling to your fingers. Horrible.

I might've been in Chattanooga or Tampa the last time they came here, but I don't remember my parents telling me anything about it, but I used to work 80+ hours a week most of my adult life so they could've told me and I wasn't listening. I had a box. I find unusual shaped box and keep them. Once I buy an item I make sure that it has a box if it is large.

You should use the lens feature of ebay or GOOGLE's LENS. Usually the covers are all the same of one series it is then just trying to figure out the numbers on the books 1,2,3 etc.

Ebay removed my listing for some incandescent bulbs I had listed saying they are illegal to sell.
