It's very common with Shopaholics to purchase lots of things, keep the tags on, & never use them. My mom does this instead of therapy (counseling). It's retail therapy.

The thermometer was definitely stolen from a hospital, as it has the hospital tag & “anti-theft” tag on it… though that didn’t do much good 😆

As I watch more of this, I'm thinking that it's more possible that a lot of it was stolen bc of the multiple phones, druggy items, & now the hospital thermometer. I lol when you were using the mic, as I thought about how entertaining you must be to Taco Stacks, Tony, & friends. 😂

I have a sister that does this. Her dining room and living room is filled with items she gets on sale. And she never takes the stuff out of the bags. She knows how to find a bargain. And she knows what she has if you need a gift you go to her house 😅😅.

you hit a shoplifters nest for sure! The stores loss is your gain. If you find a kitchen sink you know. They ripped off everything LOL! Ha Ha they ran off and left it all and now you can enjoy, sell or whatever. Left some nice clean looking totes and bags as well. This one worked out nicely .

Maybe they got caught just doing it. I used to know this girl who would use these Walmart bags, get whatever she wanted and would walk thru the self check out with an old receipt in hand, like she checked out and just leave!! Idk how but she never got caught, that ik of lol but her bedroom and closet looked like this unit!!

Renee-nice buy. Be careful when you open and smell bottles/containers. Sometimes other things, maybe dangerous, could be repackaged in an innocent looking container. Gather up any Apple phones and get yourself some credit at the Apple Store.

I was just thinking the same thing! He got stuck with all the clothes and she had a nice variety. Very good unit. A mix of items. It would drive me crazy getting everything sorted out!

Enjoyed the video…I think you did very well for $30! I bought an antique safe once, was about 4 ft high and HEAVY, took 5 of us to roll it up a ramp into my truck. I drove all summer with it in the bed of my truck sliding around when I came to a stop I called a locksmith and he said he could open it for $250 I thought that was kind of high, so backed up to my shop and just pushed it out. Next day locksmith called me and said he would open it for $25 just for the experience Of course I had no way of getting it back in my truck Sets out there sinking into the ground, I put a dead flower in a pot on it Maybe when I kick off it will get sold at my estate sale. My girlfriend teases me and sales she is going to write “ gold coins” on the side

You're still a rookie at storage unit videos - if you find an absurd garment, you must put it on immediately and model it. We're dying to see you in the wig and the gas mask! You also have to ride any skateboards, pogo sticks, tricycles, or miniature cars you find - two laps in front of the unit! PS. I've got to admit, you knew what to do with the microphone!

I think it's druggies. They grab everything they can get their hands on, including food, makeup and key fobs w/keys. I know, because my neighbor's 40 y/o junkie son and his gf did it to myself and my kids. They got so many things that aren't replaceable, they're lucky to still be walking the planet.

It was not an old unit. Incredible. It's as if they edited their stuff and stored only the best. We've all seen units in which everything, even dirty pots, were stored, presumably the results of a quick leave. This seemed to have been thought out.

Maybe the former owner worked at Walmart and bought alot of things when they went on deep discounts, or just a customer who knows how to check for the " secret" markdowns. I have seen a guy here on youtube that shows how to find those huge mark downs. Its pretty cool, he does retail arbitage with and just enjoys showing people how to find anazing deals at Wal-Mart!

What an eclectic unit. Hard to think what the back story might be. I think those 1:18 scale F & F cars would bring at least $10-$20 a piece. Could be folding money in those bank tins, I suppose - it wouldn't make any noise. Hope maybe there are a few Benji's in there for you. Definitely a fun unit; thanks for the video. Not sure I would drink the tea or whatever it was. I'm old enough to remember the Tylenol poisoning way back when - makes me very leery even of unopened ingestibles with unknown provenance. I wouldn’t even want to give away the paraphernalia because of the residue inside. Taking no chances here! I still have to open the money tins, that would be great if the one was so full of bills that it couldn’t make a noise. One can wish! I feel the same way that you do about some of the food/medicine items. Things like shampoo & toothpaste found unopened in a storage unit is one thing, but medicine…. It was a great unit, fun to go through & film! And I’m set with new socks for quite some time! Hope that you are having a nice weekend!
