I was at the county dump last week, lady pulled up across from me and pulled out a painted person cut out, (you stand next to it a take photos) I commented, too nice to throw out. I didn’t take it but Small conversation happened. I told them I sell on eBay, her husband invited me to their business warehouse they were moving out of. 2 hrs later pulled away from the warehouse with $1000+ of free vintage items to sell.

Connections are definitely important. I buy from my other dealer friends, all the time, and usually for good discounts.

I have a very good dealer friend, who I buy from every week. One time my car broke down, on the last day of an antique show I was doing. The guy stepped up for me, packed up all my goods, and brought my stuff back for me. Relationships you establish, are super important.

You are right about the networking. I have a thrift store friend that saved a pile of manga books. Collectively these books are going to gross about $200. I think I spent about $15 to buy them. He also had a good VCR that sold on Amazon within hours for $125. Wow is it nice to get opened up to some of these electronics on Amazon. The bad thing is if you can sell an electronics brand you have to find a listing of that particular model. Sometimes there isn't that model in a listing. Creating a new listing for these is difficult at best. Amazon can be so aggravating, and other times it can be great.

Amazon is getting harder and harder. So many restrictions on listing etc now. Like you said making a totally new listing is near impossible with Amazon.

Sales trends are constantly changing, but your advice (ie:networking) on how you have been successful will not change. Keep up the great content!

I network with the local pickers and try to learn from them, but lately I feel like I’m getting burned. One guy who is a collector and I’ve traded with in the past, will just clean out savers with items I’ll go and pick. Sometimes it’s right in front of me. Inventory that I would usually get isn’t there anymore. I feel like I’ve educated him over the years and now it’s burned me.

That's a hard part. I just use that attitude that if it's there when I'm in the store then it was meant to be. I have a lot of pickers at my savers so, I have to just keep going. Thanks so much for watching.

Good afternoon Mike Old goat Claire down here in Winston-Salem North Carolina. My son is having trouble with starting out on eBay I don't know how to make the pictures that I take on my phone transfer over to my desktop so anyway you were talking about cicadas They're not here yet but come the first of August it's unbearable. Gosh between eBay and Poshmark when you want to ask and they want to question there's absolutely nobody that will help you They say to drag and drop pictures because I can get the Google pictures transferred over to the desktop but then when you want to put it on the website there's no way to drag and drop it anywhere I don't understand all of that so I'm just having a real hard time and I need the money so badly

I use an APPLE Mac and Iphone super easy for me. You should be able to just click them and then enter and they should populate. You can just drag them into the photo area also and they will populate.

Always enjoy your channel. Who mention your Ebay average sale, but what is your average Amazon sale?

Just start with the most basic store. If you grow and need a bigger store then get one. Don't start with more than you need.
