Eating the BEST Pancakes in NYC at Chez Ma Tante
I eat at and review the pancakes at Chez Ma Tante in Greenpoint, Brooklyn of New York City. The pancakes are served only at brunch and are fried in clarified butter. To date, they were the best pancakes that I’ve ever had.

Nice! I'm not really a sweets guy, but you had me at fried pancakes. However, that sandwich looks phenomenal! I grew up eating Sicilian style stuffed artichokes, and love the addition there. Glad you enjoyed, and thanks for another great review!

Thanks always for watching! Yeah, I really enjoyed that sandwich too. It was top-notch! It just got a bit overshadowed by the pancakes. The artichokes were a nice addition, but the sandwich was just made so perfectly. It was great in its simplicity.
I always wonder why you don't get more views! An excellent review as alwats, would love to have them once I visit NYC.

The breakfast sandwich looked amazing! I loved seeing the carrots and herbs that were mixed into the sausage patty. The addition of artichokes seems really interesting, and tasty.

It was such a good sandwich! I really enjoyed eating it alongside my pancakes.
My god your first reaction of the pancakes truly encapsulises your experience. That reaction itself makes me want to travel to New York someday and have this on my wishlist. New York is on my travel destination because of the rich pizza scene, the world renowned halal carts, amazing chicken spots, and now pancakes too haha. As an asian, I intend to lift off my savings someday to get the vacation of my lifetime by visiting NY and that fulfilment is what I live to strive for.

Yeah, those really were amazing pancakes! Absolutely! New York has so much to offer in terms of food, which is one of the reasons why I love this city so much. I hope when you eventually get to NYC that it's an amazing trip!
Wow! They were the best looking pancakes I’ve seen for a long time, so was that photo with Paris Hilton. Good work!

Thanks for the review!! Have you tried the pancakes at Clinton St Baking Co? I went this past April after rushing for standing room tickets for phantom of the opera during its last week on broadway! My sister loved them so we are going again on our upcoming trip in November.

@@scottmeskan1931 Nice! Well those are all great spots, but there's probably a million other places that I could recommend. Dame is a restaurant worth checking out as well as Lord's. Those are just two that popped in my head. If there's any specific type of cuisine you're looking for I might be able to give some more specific recommendations in that regard.

@@scottmeskan1931 Casa Mono is great for Spanish influenced small plates, but it is a bit pricey, but I really enjoyed my food there. I haven't been to Tokyo Record Bar yet, but it does sound like a fun place and their Prix Fixe menu seems like a good deal. As far as chopped cheese, there's Hajji's Deli, but that one is a bit out of the way and even though many consider it to be the inventor of the sandwich, their offering isn't that much better than what you can get at a typical NYC deli. My favorite chopped cheese came from Bronson's Burgers, but that was a special and I'm not sure if they're still offering it, but they do serve good burgers at least!
The chef at this restaurant does have a video of him on KZread showing how he does these pancakes.

Kudos to your on point pronounciation but their name makes no sense as well as their claim to serve "European food" (what is this anyways, it is a continent with lots of traditions and cuisines). I mean they are serving breakfast burgers and American pancakes 🤣
@Jamesnu

Thank you! Yeah, their name is a bit odd, but it does sound nice. The claim that their food is "European" is just so general, but the important aspect is that it's good food!
