Yes! That is absolutely what I do. When I go on trips or a friend visits from out of town, I do exactly what you do Chelsea with some splurges, but my basic way of eating is veggies/potatoes/ beans! I know that is one of the keys to losing 60+ lbs at age 52 and maintaining it for 15 years! Now, I'm working on more strength training. EVEN at 68 years old. LOVE your hair!

Love the new hair! So cute! I'd love to hear more about avoiding cheat day creep, and how I can ensure I have my healthy 'baseline' meals 90% of the time. Also, avoiding the all or nothing mentality. Your video was so on point for me...ive been developing a system so i can still lose/maintain weight whilst still enjoying eating "fun foods" socially; so I don't feel deprived or like im missing out. I am embracing the old fashioned term "high days and holidays". Let me explain, high days are things like birthdays, anniversaries etc and the holidays are stuff like our NZ public holidays. For example for our upcoming public holiday Waitangi Day Im having the family over and we are going to be making burgers and 🎂 eating cake! We will still have all the goodies like the salads etc. But its still a bit of a treat day. I worked out all our families high days and holidays and they equalled around 5% of the years total days. However, like you its not the whole day of mischeif eating its just one meal...which I intend to enjoy absolutely guilt free. I am looking forward to these special days/meals and that excitement has made it easier to pass over unhelpful choices during my regular routines. Thought I'd share incase it helps someone else on this journey xo Love the hair!
