In this video I will show you the Easy Way to Match Color in Photoshop. While there are many ways to achieve a nice looking result when creating a photo composite, this is by far the fastest and easiest way that I have seen. While adding Adjustment Layers and Smart Filters can give us a lot of control and flexibility, there are some cases where it’s better to save time and let Photoshop do the work for you.
Here I will show you how to color grade and match any subject to a background, or any background to a subject with ease. As long as you have a reference image that you want to sample your colors from, you can quickly and easily apply this trick to any of your projects ranging from portrait photography, nature photography, photo compositing, and key art design. The best part about this is that you can always add more effects or adjustments, but using this technique will help you get started with a solid foundation while still offering some customization over the look.
