    That’s one of the things I love about the chef is that he loves America and he appreciates this country. Specially these days with so many people burning the flag and not saying the Pledge of Allegiance and complaining about being here. Love you, Chef. God bless America.❤❤❤❤❤❤

    "How do you know if it's too thin? Let me tell you the idea. You want the sauce to be on top of the shrimp...in every bite." As he says it, he shows you what he means. You can't miss the lesson in the lesson. The importance of texture delivering taste. Other than the fact that this dish looks delicious, this chef, Chef Jean-Pierre, gives you dozens of great tips and pointers as he teaches. Just listen and watch, and you'll agree. Plus, they're all given in a spirit of light-hearted enjoyment of food, cooking, and presentation. Hard not to smile with him as he cooks and teaches. That alone is a winning recipe for teaching. On top of it all, these videos are given like a gift. Pretty amazing. Thanks, Chef.

    Today I received something even better than a fan tastic recipe, I received a great tip on where to buy seafood, the fish Peddler. Thank you chef. I live up the street on 441 and have not been able to find anybody I really cared for except for all Seas food but the last few times there they were very limited to what they were offering. So thank you once again........ by the way Chef, I have already called the fish Peddler and told them about the referral and ask them if they carried Seafood sausage which Unfortunately they did not but they were very pleased to hear about the referral and had wonderful things to say about you as well.👍

    Thank you for your kind and enthusiastic encouragement Chef Jean-Pierre. Inspired by your energetic and humorous engagement with your audience, I made this dish last night (the first time for any of your dishes) and It. Was. Simply AH-MAY-ZING - my wife even gave it 20/10! IMHO the success of my dish is only (and always) exceeded by the sheer heartfelt joy and love you bring to us in every single recipe creation you present with such skill, grace and humour. Yes, 'mis en place' is the ONLY way to go (game-changer for me) and made the creation such a stress-free and fun experience. Spent a leisurely hour of mindfulness gently doing all the 'mis en place' prep during the afternoon so as to 'set the stage' for the main event. Once I got the actual cooking underway later that night, it was on the plate in around 20 mins from start to 'chow-down'. Easily the most relaxed and fabulous meal I have EVER cooked. Thank you seems so inadequate for the gratitude I have for all you are sharing with us on your channel. And who knew such joy is to be found in slicin' & dicin' an 'on-yoh' correctly? Also loved the effect of those 'curly-wurly' "pig-tailed prawns" (shrimps to you 'muricans) - looked ever so 'purdee' on the plate! Now looking forward to cooking your Beef Stroganov very soon, but being sure to cook it 'veer-wee, veer-wee slow-lee' - bloop ........ bloop .......bloop! With mucho' respect and gratitude all the way from Sydney, Australia.

    Sure, that's a great rule for a professional kitchen, but what about home cooks? When cooking at home one of your goals is efficiency and speed. Many (if not most) recipes are staged in such a way that while you're cooking one ingredient, you have time to prepare the next.

  • @richardcorsillo9819

    @richardcorsillo9819

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@filiphusko2701 What I have learned is that NO MATTER WHAT the mise is important, even for home cooks. I suggest prepping most of your dinner early in the day (I often do it in the morning). Additionally, my family and I find a lot of stress when counters are cluttered, dishes from previous meals aren't cleaned and put away, and when the dinner table isn't ready for a meal. Other little things go a long way, such as making sure you put your clean your veggies well before (aside from mushrooms and a few others), putting groceries away as soon as you get home. Lastly, I emphasize having a kitchen where everything has its place. I know which towel is for drying dishes, which is for counters, same with sponges. Would be cool so see Jean-Pierre do a video on this. Probably would be a game changer

    Never get tired of watching videos of Chef JP cooking.... he makes cooking look so easy and fun. Very sound advice given during the course of the video. Love his sense of humour too...."I keep my nuts in the freezer", "recipe police", "mamma mia", and the whole works! Looking forward to more culinary journeys with you, Chef JP!
