Omg absolute legends in action, also love how ibz is still watching even tho he's literally in Malaysia 😂😂❤️
It's so comforting hearing you say that you also fell into common mistakes such as not working in frees during Y1 of 6th form, knowing that you got 3 A*'s. It always seems like students who get A*A*A* must be working at 100% all the time, it really shows that there is no reason you can't work hard *now* to achieve your goals.

It wouldn’t hurt but if u didnt its okay. My chemistry teacher said that last year a student got a D at the end of year 12 but managed to get an A* at the end of sixth form so if you really try your best you can fix it
Might come back later so I'll just leave this here. - Compile your notes neat and early - Make resources easily available - Make summary cards - Stick to deadlines - Try to avoid/ reduce working when exams are coming - Plan things to do in free time - Actively research what you don't understand - Contribute in class - Revise for in-class tests
Is it just me or jack is really cute?😍😍😭

Thanks so much for this video Jack. I'm in Year 13 and I just did my mock exams before xmas. My results were AAC. Obviously I'm very pleased with two out of three, but the C has really shaken me, particularly because it was in English Literature, which is what I've applied to study at uni. While I admit I didn't exactly spend 14 hours a day revising for my mock, I still did revise thoroughly and I just feel like I've hit a brick wall in the subject. I don't know how to improve my revision significantly, as I already have a coherent, organised approach. Your video has settled my nerves however and shown me that there's always time to change, and I know I just need to remain positive. You really are the best.
I highly appreciate how nicely Jack explains everything, it gives you hope that you won't fail this time. Being a student who has faced many such issues he has too faced, I find every advice so on point. Like you do it, and it solves the problem. Good work! Thanks!
Jack, as somebody in the same year as you, you're honestly really inspirational. The genuine care that you have for your subscribers, and the time you invest in helping them do as well as they are capable of doing, shines through. Big respect for you x
Thanks. This is really helpful for me. Especially that contributing part. Most of the time I'm embarrassed to even ask a question during class. Its something Ive been meaning to change for a while now😑😌
Jack’s just one of those you tubers who I love watching and actually help me with what I need advice with!❤️

Jack Edwards No, thank you, you’re the one helping me ✨
It's nice to hear anecdotes from your previous experiences with a certain topic such as revising for A-Levels. I think, reflecting on what you did and if that was the best thing or not and how you advise us to be different really helps. Keep it coming, thanks.
I’ve been in such a bad routine lately, I’m doing my a-levels this year and this has totally motivated me to get loads done up until my exams! Thank you millions 😊
This video literally came at the perfect time. Jack you can read my mind!!!

Oh my God, I saw the title and I screamed in sheer joy and relief. I needed this, although most of my exams are in summer (please save me from A Level Politics!) My last business exam (the real thing) is in 7 days and looking through the grade boundaries are high every damn year.

Kaliyah Bower as someone who got an A* in business a level the best thing you can do is not treat topics in isolation! You’re taught a syllabus for a reason, referring to other topics in responses and evaluation sections of 8/12/20 markers boots your marks so much!! It shows you understand the topics in a broader context and have actually came to terms with the information as opposed to learnt a textbook :) x

Kaliyah Bower I got an A in politics last year, my biggest piece of advice is have recent examples, it’s so useful
I don’t know whether it’s the tone of your voice or the advice in this video but watching this really calmed me down, I was freaking out over my mock exams and this video popped up in my recommended and now I feel so much better so thank youu so much

Thank you for this video Jack! I have my mocks at the end of the month and my exams at the start of May, and I always start the hardcore revision from January. That way I can still put in effort but not burn myself out five months prior to exams and that seemed to work for my exams last year!
I was planning on being productive but I’ve been really ill (still am) but now I feel motivated to start... tomorrow

AHHHHH not sure about that but i have everything crossed!!!
3:01 - 3:10 - About ending up teaching yourself instead of revising the concepts of the topic. I'm out of uni now, but a tutor once said to make sure you have a good grasp of the concepts covered during class/lecture/tutorial before leaving that day- this way, you don't have to teach it again to yourself come exam period. this also means that whatever concepts or ideas to come in the next class will make sense. Best way to do so is to participate in class actively - this means asking questions and publicly expressing your thoughts in class - this way if you are looking at something the wrong way, the tutors can point you to the right direction.
ahhhh, this is so helpful and encouraging! I was so nervous as I thought you were literally going to list all the things that I hadn't been doing, but it turns out that I'm more on-track than I thought! Quite excited to start back at school now so I can improve my revision techniques more! Thank you!! :D x
I swear, I've done 6.5h of revision today, but come out the other end feeling like I've done nothing/got nowhere.

Hi, I am a new youtuber and I have just uploaded a video talking about my 3 favourite methods of cramming revision that hekp you learn stuff really quickly, and the information sticks too. I think this would really help you to spend less time revising and more time actually taking information in and fully understanding it! I hope everything goes well for you, when are your exams? Are you doing GCSEs or A-Levels? kzread.info/dron/5liSY1Hhs3BeRkYsolXcyw.htmlfeatured

Thank you so much for this🙈i needed a video like this💝you are one of my favourite youtubers❤️
My school think it's effective to give 7-10 hours homework per subject in oyr second year, EXCLUDING revision and I - 😑 I really dislike the system but you gotta deal. 6 more months, 6 to go!!
Watching this in between writing paragraphs of my history essay. Great confidence boost because sometimes all this work just feels like such a drag and as if it doesn't even matter. But you're right; little bits here and there are so much easier!
i completely agree, I'm making flashcards now as i go along and i think it will rlly help me

Great tips Jack! I just started with a new semester and plan on improving my grades this time. ❤️
Thank you soo much. I really needed this video!!!
This video is actually really helpful bit I'll have to rewatch it when my 2nd semester starts in February :) I still have to do my first semester exams and presentations and I really didn't study at all during the year. (I'm in my 3rd year of interior architecture and my design projects keep asking more and more time, it's not like I didn't do anything at all...)
This is literally what I've been waiting for since I started my GCSE course :) thanks Jack!

thanks for all these videos!!it gives me alot of encouragement:))
Arghhh I’m panicking so much for these exams, I didn’t have the best term last term and I didn’t do amazing in my mocks and I just stopped working and I couldn’t motivate myself to do it, I completely shut down, but now I’m pure panicking because everything is tangible and I don’t feel like I’m ever working hard enough or doing enough work. I don’t feel I have enough time to do my work, even though I quit all my extra curricular subjects too. Urgh nightmare. This was such a helpful video though Jack, and you saying you only started really working really hard and smartly in January made me feel much better. Thank you.
this is exactly what I needed to hear after having similar thoughts the last few weeks. I've finally made a PHAT excel to stay on top of what revision/notes I've done and hoping to be more on top of everything after my mocks are over (honestly wish I had this surge of motivation a month ago and then I wouldn't feel like i was gonna drastically fail these exams 😂😭)
great video, I think its worth mentioning for a A levels and GCSE's to a lesser extent organising notes and making summary cards is invaluable because for A levels the courses are so detailed it becomes much easier when you come to revise when you know you wrote the key points about stuff in each topic, as it means you'll have no gaps in your knowledge and you'll be able to identify weaknesses. I'm in yr 13 and I wish i did this from the start of yr 12 :(
BEST KZreadR.... USEFUL ADVICE
Much needed video! I'm Spanish and I'm currently studying the equivalent to Y13. I've always gotten straight A*s, but last term, my marks got quite a lot worse because I didn't take it too seriously, mostly due to my lack of motivation. However, now I must start revising for my Spanish A levels, which consist of 6 subjects and, you know, there is way too much content! Anyway, I'm gonna start applying your tips right now. Thanks for your encouragement, this has just boosted my confidence!
jaaack that was so helpful, THANK U!!!! I'm graduating from highschool in June and these tips will be def helpful for my (suuuper frickin important) final exams in May!
Perfectly timed video! Very much needed and appreciated! Its comforting to hear that I'm not the only one who slacked with essay deadlines and work in their free slots. I'm right now doing my utmost to recover my procrastination with a project and presentation I have due this week. My second year in sixth form is most definitely teaching me in many aspects especially seeing the improvements I've made from first year, in a holistic manner so to say. Thank you for your genuine videos and tips! :) I can resonate with the research point you mentioned, however I end up browsing beyond the necessities and end up procrastinating. Considering the fact that my A'levels are languages, procrastination surely doesn't fit the criteria but.. slowly I'm working on it and improving. Thanks again for the video! :) Cheers from Malta by the way! *apologies for the lengthy comment😂
So needed!!! Got a levels in May/June and really not prepared, thanks Jackkkk!!! Xx
