Easy Strawberry Cake Recipe

All ingredients at room temperature
You will need 1 pound (450g) fresh strawberries
► 2 ¾ (330g) cups all-purpose flour
► 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
► 1 teaspoon salt
► ¼ teaspoon baking soda
► 1 cup (227g) unsalted butter softened
► 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
► 4 large egg whites
► 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
► ½ (120ml) cup whole milk
► ½ cup (120ml) fresh strawberry puree reduced
► raspberry juice can be used for coloring
Strawberry Frosting:
► 8 ounces (227g) cream cheese
► 1 cup (227g) unsalted butter
► 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
► pinch of salt
► 6 cups (720g) powdered sugar sifted
► ¼ cup fresh strawberry puree reduced
Oven 350F / 176C for 30 minutes. Let it cool off for 20 minutes before removing from the pans.
