Yay!! Congratulations! The more you sew the better you'll get :)
Thank you very much for all your videos Erica! I really like your style, colour combinations and fabrics which drew me into watching you tutorials. This one was my first sew along and though my bag turned out tiny somehow it’s something I’m super proud of. Wish I could show you! Thank you very much. Now I’m onto your scissor case tutorial next. Thank you ❤
You give the BEST walk through instructions on KZread. No joke. I have made many of your items successfully and only because your tutorials are so good. YOU ARE AMAZING. Thank you so much!!!!

Agreed!!!! I’ve watched so many trying to get my head around sewing but always come back to Erica’s videos
I am a beginner; in fact this is the first bag I ever made...turned out fantastic! My friends were going crazy with compliments; even I said WOW! I just made my second one for a friend’s daughter to carry her laptop and a couple books for college; I adjusted the pattern to make a little bigger and again: FANTASTIC! I can’t thank you enough...you made it nice and simple to follow you and I learned a lot from your video.
Once I get my craft room done, this is in my to do list. Thanks for your instructions! Can't wait to get back to quilting!
You sew such straight lines! It’s awesome!
Thank you Ericka. Enjoyed much. Very easy to follow. I get when you say towards the end that your ready to be done at a certain point. I felt it too.
Love the tutorials of projects using mini charm squares. This tote is so cool. I’m going to make one. Thank you, Erica.
Thank you for the great tutorial. I made a bag for myself and several people have commented about liking my purse ❤ so now I have made two more for friends. Thanks again!

I have said this before, but you are a super instructor. You remind me of my daughter. She home schooled all of her children. I am making this bag for 3 of my closest friends for Christmas. Gotta make one for myself. Thank you.
I can totally make this bag. You're such a great tutor, easy to follow instructions. Thank you for your hard work.
I did it! Thank you Erica, you are such a great teacher!
I just dont know how you get everything done in a day, lol. Your very talented. Your my number one tutorial presenter. I am trying to do all of them. You obviously try very hard to help us beginners and novices get it done. Thank you! My quilting days are just beginning. I just love all it encompasses. Keep up the Great work!, Maggie

I agree with you Margaret Barnes. How does she get everything done, she seems relaxed, home schooling 4 kids, cooking, husband, she must have nerves of steel.
Just finished my first bag with this tutorial. It turned out great! Thanks so much for sharing.
I'm new to quilting and want to make something smaller and quicker than a blanket (which has been a heck of an experience for a first project!). I was really intimidated by all the "easy" patchwork tote tutorials I had read, but after watching your video I'm feeling confident I can make this! You've shown and explained everything so clearly. Thank you :)
Erica ... thank you sew very much for your excellent bag pattern and easy to follow directions. It made a wonderful tablet bag for a teenager's birthday! I had been looking for a pattern for months and yours was perfect 🥰
Thank you for the tutorial it was very clear and my tote bag turned nicely.
I have only been watching tutorials for a couple days. Gotta say I just love this bag and I am sure I will make one for myself. Maybe for my daughters and daughter-in-law for mothers Day, too.

I love to to watch your video. You explain everything so well that we can do our projects you do a wonderful job.
I learn a new technique/method/tip every time I watch one of your tutorials. Thank you, made this for my MIL for Christmas. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Bags are clearly stash busters and so useful for gifts and every day use. It is so much much matching up random fabrics. I have so much home dec pieces and have lined up and cut into grocery store bag size, and made bags and give to family and friends for Costco, and grocery stores, I made sure they were totally washable and doubled, they could be turned inside/out. I also made some with the heavier plastic netting so sand and tiny particles could flow through. Not all exact, just depended on size of fabric I had, and of course some of the fabrics matched better than others.
Love this bag can't wait to start a new project!
I just found your channel Erica. Great tutorial for a simple bag. Love your choice of fabric on this and it made up into a really cute bag. Thanks for sharing. You made it look so easy. I have made a number of bags and this is the easiest of them I think. No need to make it complicated, for sure!
I love all your bag ideas, big and small, that are so handy to have but also use up those pesky scraps!!! :-) Keep them coming! You're such a great teacher.
