Thanks for a great video. I especially appreciate your no-nonsense approach-straight to the point without a lot of unnecessary chatter. You explained everything clearly & covered all aspects. Well done.
I love how you simplify the bag making process. It really feels like anyone can do it. Plus you don't push so hard on tools to buy to make things work
Erica, you share your talent, teaching, time and patterns freely with us. To the 7 dislikers I say...SCROLL PAST and don't be haters, where are YOUR sewing videos???? I thank you sincerely for sharing. Hugs Kate in New York ❣

Thank you for your videos. You are so talented.
Thank you for the great pattern and tutorial. I was looking for a tote or bag pattern that I could use for diaper bags. I took your pattern and modified it, made it only 18 inches wide, added full pockets inside and two extra inside on the ends (total 8 pockets). I sewed these for a ministry at my church. We have a 12 week discipleship class for pregnant single mothers. After they complete the classes the ladies at the church help with giving them a baby shower. Our Spring 2024 class is just finishing up. I made a bag for each of the young women.........They are such nice bags; I will be making them again for the fall class..... Thanks again for your clear and precise tutorial, Theresa in Texas
Thank you for designing a weekend bag with a zip. It’s lovely.

Hi 🙋♂️
I made this bag with the Dallas Cowboys fabric. I entered it in this year's, 2023, Texas State Fair and won a 3rd place ribbon! Thank you Erica for your great step by step tutorial!
This is the eighth bag that i have made. This one is for me! This is going to be my carry on bag. We are going to Scilly for our 20th wedding anniversary. How many pairs of shoes do you think i can get away with taking! 😂 Trying to figure out how to attach a picture.
I have had this video saved forever and finally watched! I just have to say that your an awesome teacher! I’m definitely making these for my daughter, daughter in law and mom for Christmas! Thank you Erica!
This is gorgeous! I love your very clear & methodical instructions, Erica. It's not so daunting when you take it step by step. Thank you :-)
That bag is so cute! Your choice of fabrics really makes it! Who wouldn't love that bag.❣
I have made four of these bags. Everyone loves them. Thank you! Your patterns tutorials are awesome!
I have just found you and you make this look so easy, I'm inspired to get my sewing machine out and start creating! God bless you and thank you for this pattern & tutorial.
I love all the ideas of covering the raw edges and , also the ties from the fat quaters to use to cover the raw edges.
You make installing zippers look so easy. I also appreciate the tips that you mention to make it easier. Thank you 😊

Hi Lora
I made the Weekend Tote with ties, and loved it. Can't wait to sew this one too! Just to support you, I went ahead and purchased the patterns. Thank you so much for the wonderful tutorial.
I have made this multiple times. I did not do your inside pocket but adapted it with mesh pockets on each side of the bag on the inside. Easy peasy. LOVE IT! Have also made the smaller one. They make wonderful gifts!
I have been watching a lot of bag videos but they all seem so complicated this was so nice and simple with a perfect end result. Now I’m finally confident to try making a zipper bag!
I love how easy-going your video is. I’m definitely making one this week
Keep em’ coming Erica! They are great and beautiful and especially generous of you!! I so appreciate all of these videos 😘 xo tina
I JUST finished this bag and I am very proud of myself as I am a brand new quilter and only have the Brother LX3817 (a very tiny beginner machine) and I will post a pic with your hashtag soon. Thank you for your amazing tutorials. I am so happy that I have found your channel. I am also doing your QAL for this year and cannot wait till Thursday for the next block to come out!
I made this bag over the fourth of July weekend. It turned out really cute. I make almost all of your bags.... I thought this one was a lot harder, but so worth it. Thank you for your tutorials!!

I am a seasoned sewer and still found this bag a bit difficult, but, as you say, worth it. The instructions were great except that another time I might cut the foam interfacing smaller than indicated. Glad I challenged myself to do it. Would send a photo if I could figure out how 🤔.
I love how easy you make it look!! I've made one of your bags before and with your great directions it was super easy!! I need to try this one!! So stinkin cute!!!! You are truly the best!!!
I like the idea of folding in the corner start of the binding, trully impressed with that technique.
So beautifully done! I’ve purchased the foam, and will attempt to make this, as well as the other one. Love your videos. Thanks
I have now made two of these for our cruise come January. And I absolutely LOVE them. You are AWESOME at showing us exactly what to do! Of course, my second one came out better lol Practice makes perfect! THANK YOU, AGAIN!
Yesssss I’ve been waiting all day for this!! I must have refreshed KZread 150 times today! 🤣
That was very smartly put together and turns out looking so professional.
Just purchased the pattern for the smaller one. So so pleased you have this video as it’s really helped me to understand what to do as I’m more of a visual learner. Many thanks
Thank you Erica! I followed your tutorial and made this bag!! I had to take a few deep breaths before going round corners. I've never done corners before but I did it!!! Thank you again.

Another amazing video! You make everything so clear. As soon as I finish the QAYG bag I’m working on I plan to start this one. It’s the one I’ve been waiting for and thanks so much for showing us how to make it.
This is the perfect size for Spirit and Frontiers personal item! Thanks so much for this tutorial.
I made that bag a few years ago. I wish you would have been my teacher at that time. I had such a hard time putting mine together. I literally had to take an extra class along with a few more of my friends. Thank you so much for clarification. I’m ready to finish another one..from Innisfil Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
That is beautiful. I have been searching for a carpet bag type pattern. I think this will work. Love it. Thank you Erica.
Loved this tutorial. Found it very easy to follow. Thanks so much. I've just finished my first bag with scraps from my quilting scraps. Will make another.
Been looking for a special bag to make for my chemotherapy supplies. This is the first one that I feel will fit the bill and the video is a bonus.
I loved the tied bag you made previously, but I REALLY love this bag! It’s so professional looking, and yet you make each step look so simple and straight forward, I feel like I might even be able to make it! Thank you for another awesome video. 😁
