Easy Mushroom & Spinach Pizza Calzone Recipe | Jamie Oliver
This is a beautiful filling for a classic calzone pizza recipe made by Jamie in his own home. Try different types of mushrooms to get a variety of flavours and let us know how you get on in the comments box below - what's your favourite calzone filling or pizza topping?
This recipe was first seen on the Jamie at Home TV series in 2007. All the food made in this video was shared out and eaten among the very lucky crew. Nothing goes to waste

he didnt even cut into it. thats the fucking money shot.
Those "Jamie At Home" episodes are in my opinion still the best thing Jamie has done.
the best thing i knew when i was in school was to get home, snuggle up in my bed and watch Jamie at home. it is by far the coziest cooking show ever!
I love this series. I want to see them again
Excellent variation to how I make mine. I will try it.
That just looks so beautiful and delicious to eat! We love your simplicity Jamie, all your dishes are winners! We love that kitchen too!
looks amazing
additional tips : 1) Wet the edges for a better seal. 2) Make a couple of vents at the top. and most importantly... wait a few minutes for the filling to come to room temperature.
I love that this was published on my birthday... said the girl with mad mushroom love.
I just love mushrooms! Great variety. There was just enough sauce in this too. Cool trick using the granite.
Can't wait to try this myself

Hello Jamie! Daniel here from Montreal, Canada. Could you please upload a video on how to use herbs. What herb should we use for certain kinds of food. Thank you love your videos.

bref13 Yep, it's from his show from a few years back. One of his best.
What a beautiful dough!
Looks good, only cazone i've ever had was a BBQ chicken one - good times all round though!
Hi Jamie, i love Mushrooms. so good.
YES! get yourself a lovely lemony, biscuity lager or something with a bit of sweet depth like a Bock (Huber do an amazing one) and that would be delicious!
Love the vegetarian recipes!
Jamie.........I adore you...........! Love watching you cook...... My daughter loves you, too. My grandson is coming over tomorrow to make calzones with me...!!!
wow
God damn that looks tasty
Now that we finally have an oven in our house - we were using a grill before - I want to make this. I'd have to use a non-dairy cheese though. I think I've seen non-dairy mozzarella before. Have to wait til the non-dairy cheeses are on sale again though. They're expensive where I live. In the meantime I'm tempted to just make the mushrooms themselves as a snack because they already looked delicious on their own.
Amazing. This help my meatless journey tremendously. Thank you.
Wish I could have seen inside once it was cooked!
Arabian Samosa are rolled exactly in the same way, but smaller in size.

They are indeed and they are so lovely
You should've fold the end bit of dough under the calzone so the sauce doesn't ooze out. But I love the mushroom and spinach; also, the mozzarella looked so incredibly fresh!
I bought Jamie at home on DVD many years ago
yummm
I'd love to know what reason people have to dislike videos like this

its from his old show Jamie at Home, it first aired in 2007 :)
kinda italian pasty
Is that just regular pizza dough I hate it when they don’t explain every ingredient in the video....
In other words, this calzone is just a posh pasty?
@AlexLococo

+Tardisgirl Who No, it's an italian pastry.
There is no calzone recipe like this on his page that is listed. It reminds me of women who leave out the secret ingredient so no one can make it as well as they can. I will skip these videos. I really don't like watching people cook or cooking, so I like the recipe so I can get on with it and just give it to the cook. It looks good.
i just realise that he looks like bilbo baggins.
TV cooking as usual: "you only need a couple of hundred ingredients..."
I am going to stick with the Calzone from Paisanos!
It was all good until the last bit where he didn't even cut it open. Thumbs down!

curry puff XD
No tomato sauce in a Calzone, at least the Italian immigrants in America never put sauce in them. In a Stromboli, sure, in a Calzone, no. Generally a Calzone is filled with ricotta and mozzarella, mushrooms, some type of Italian ham, etc.
Wouldn't work, hot ingredients poured directly onto cold dough then heated, would just create soggy dough
te faltó nada mas y nada menos que la preparación de la masa de pizza..... :(
***** ...heap a load of bacon in there and it'd be perfect ;-)
How did this guy convince people he's good at cooking
Why are you living in a hole in the wall? You need a more open kitchen, it's too dark. btw no eating at the end? weak
This guy is copying Genarios style. This is the second video doing the same thing as Genarios maybe a little bit different . His food inspiration comes from Italy just to make it clear.
