Future reference for serving massive amounts of baked potatoes or corn on the cob for a crowd: after cooking, put them in a cooler to keep them hot.

Getting food ready for camping/trips is always daunting but so satisfying and worth it once at your destination. I’ll be making muffins, granola, and now inspired to make sloppy joes for our weekend camping trip as well. Hmm...maybe French toast as well. And that peach dessert?! Yum! And so easy.

To help fight inflammation fish oil works wonders. I have a few autoimmune diseases and I take it to keep me within the acceptable limit. It's one of those things that you notice when you don't take it how well it helps. I'm glad you got to go to Bear Lake- I thought it had been a while, but I didn't know it was that long!

So I'm finally caught up on your videos. I have been watching 3 years worth of videos in a month and a half. I've followed you for 6 or 7 years now, but life happened and I lost track of your videos. But I looked you up again and I could not be happier. You have helped me tremendously with motivation, food storage ideas, cleaning tips and last, but not least, all the cooking - I love to watch you cook. I live in Estonia, so I need to modify some of your advice And a big thank you for introducing me to the Flylady system. You look positively radiant. ❤️ You inspire me to no end. 😊

Looks like there will be good eating on your trip. 👍🏻. Suggestion. All those little bits of garlic skin that are left in your garlic press can be put in a jar with vinegar of your choice Infused garlic vinegar can be used in salad dressing or whatever. 😊

For future, the cake likely didn’t bake because you added so much more moisture with the extra peaches! I would use the one can in the future and just warm the other cans in the microwave just before you’re ready to serve.

Actually if you wrap each potatoe in foil drizzle with olive oil and a liberal shake of sea salt and bake they are super crispy and stay hot for a really long time even when out of the oven so great to make ahead for a crowd especially with 5 boys and 16 grandchildren between us !! LOL Happy Vacation

Haha I love your extra stocked pantry. I remember quiet awhile back you stocking your pantry I was amazed. My father has about as much stuff but completely disorganized! I love the look of your sloppy joes you said you got from the pioneer woman - I have watched a few of her episodes and they seem good! I really liked the way you did your baked potatoes. I have never seen that done before that way by crisping them up using oil on them. I will have to try that as well! And your bar looked so good as well as the pudding! Great video!

I make those dump cakes all the time. I usually bake in the oven, but have done it over a fire, the smoker, and the grill. Very forgiving recipe. Try adding some ginger, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, or allspice. You can also sub out pie fillings for peaches or other canned fruits. It is one of our favorites.

We had oatmeal at least one day for breakfast and all the fresh picked raspberries from our yard one day; we had lunchmeat that we bought for my husband’s lunch that needed eaten with bread or lettuce (wrap) and watermelon I purchased before we left. Then made burgers for 25 from 8# of sale grassfed ground beef with clearance pepper Jack cheese (friend bought buns) and clearance blue tortillas chips & clearance salsa. My son ran to Meijer for 5 gallons of ice cream and two types of cones for a huge get together after the parade before the concert Saturday night. Another gal brought hot dogs and buns to enjoy before the fireworks. Generous friends makes the long weekend fabulous! 🇺🇸 We hosted 50 family members on Monday so I’m glad I didn’t have to do all the meals that week.

Use a couple of pieces of paper towel under the crockpot lid. It absorbs the moisture and let's the crockpot cook like an oven. Then you won't need to lay the lid across adding to your time so that it browns. Just stretch out a couple of pieces of paper towel.

We belong to an RCI timeshare, and whenever we've gone 'condo-ing' for a week, I always take a ton of groceries (and buy what I need when we get there to cut down on the amount of 'luggage' in the car). I don't know about you, but I always end up with way more food than we needed. But I enjoy cooking at the condos we stay at - it's fun to be in a different environment, and I don't like having to clean up and leave every time we need a meal, so it's worth the work of packing all that food, IMO!
