What kits have you put together for freezer meals? These are fun to do and very convenient. Here is the video of the pizza kits.kzread.info/dash/bejne/oZmk182ep6-qorw.html&t

Kimmy, honey, you HAVE to take care of yourself. It's such a busy time in your life, trying to homeschool, KZread, television, planner business....I don't pertained know you, but worth that you're wearing yourself down, not sleeping and trying to do ALL the things. Please hire some help in whatever form you need it and I'll be praying for you, sister in Christ. BTW love your freezer meal videos too!🧡
I'm a knife peeler. It's how my grandma taught me to peel potatos and other root veges way back when I was 7. That would have been 1979. She also taught me to cut and cube in my hand. It's rare I use a cutting board for anything other than meat.

My Granny taught me the same thing! I also cut and cube in my hand - especially eggs. She also showed me how to peel an apple with a perfect one piece ring!

I cut and cube in my hand as well. Potatoes and boiled eggs were the first things my grandma taught me. I do pretty much any vege and quite a few fruit that way. I don't like doing dishes and if I use my hands I don't have wash cutting boards. I have changed one thing though and that's I use nitrile gloves because of eczema. I love cooking the old ways. It just seems more like home. It brings me close to my mom and grandma even though they have been gone since 1992.
Great video! I bought one of those pasta pots. I love it. There is no need to use a strainer as you are cooking in one! The inner pot IS a strainer. You could have saved 2 kits right there. Next time, only use the pot strainer to drain your pasta. It works perfectly! Now time to go watch more of your videos!!

I bet you did awesome... keep it simple is a good reminder to me too. Sometimes I try to get to much going in a day and projects don't get finished and I'm flat out exhausted.
I’m a fan of these kind of segments. It saves time and money. If you have a big family, this is a must. Specially nowadays. Thanks for sharing some of your ideas.🥰❤️
Meal planning has been a life saver for me. We end up running so much when my husband is home from work and if I do not plan we end up spending a small fortune on take out

I agree 100%!!! We used to end up eating out almost every night of the week! It's actually saved so much $$ and time!
Love that Taco kit and also the Fajita kit. Gave me an idea to make some meals kits for my sons. Thanks for the inspiration.
It depends on the peeler really. I have a really slow one that Ive had for years but with two knife things off Amazon that we bought we got two free peelers and they work really well and fast so I now use the peeler. Love you and your show
love this! Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to get the new planner!!
I've done this for over a decade for trips. I toss them in our yeti cooler and take a crockpot or (now) instant pot. Its so nice!
Was looking for zucchini brownie recipes and came across one from you that was like 7 years ago. So cool. Even then you were serving up awesome inspiration for us moms! 🙏🏻😊
I never used the rotisserie bones for homemade broth.. Im going to try that soon bc we use a lot of broth in recipes. Thank you for the great ideas and recipes!
Used to use a knife until arthritis made me use a peeler... I use the one that slides onto your fingers and I love it.
Years and years ago I bought a Rada knife pack that included a vegetable peeler. I LOVE that thing! I use my peeler, way faster and easier on my hands than a knife. Personal preference, lol! 😉
Peeler. I made chix bone broth yesterday from a rotisserie chicken from Sam's club. My husband takes all the meat off and everything else goes into the instapot strainer for 120 minutes with some onion, a carrot and celery. Also add 2 teaspoons cider vinegar to help draw the collagen from the bones. Yummy.
Keep it simple, sweetie! Sounds so much more kind. Good job, lady!
All kits helpful and the tips were very helpful. Thanks for sharing. Blessings
Freezer meal is planned for Monday Labor Day.. I took a week off from work to get my garden harvested and preserved, freezer meals done, canning sausage and ground beef.. also making a months worth of homemade bread, along with new appliance delivery and also de-cluttering the bedroom, kitchen and pantry

Kimmy, you crack me up 😂! Love your sense of humor ! Because of your videos I now have a 3 month food supply pantry & will probably expand to 6 month. Also have learned to do freezer meals because of you. Thank you so much !,,
I use a peeler for carrots. I wash the potatoes and peel them with a knife. The peels I fry them in vegetable oil and surf it as chips. Thank you for the awesome videos
If you fold over the top part of the bag, it will stay open for filling and the zipper part won't get messy.
I am team vegetable peeler. I really appreciate the work you put it to each video. love the kits!!
fab video Kimmy loves the kit ideas, would definitely do this going to the hospital for surgery in just over two weeks, so going to plan ahead for the family. love to all xxx

I know about the containers versus the bags. I save so much more space using the bags than containers. I have done both. My freezer prep is using part of the meals I make myself and freezing part of that. It's the best way for me being one person in my household. You do have some great tips I have used.
Fantastic video! I love the pizza and taco kits you do...comfort food at its finest 🙂 Thank you for all your hard work. God bless you and your family! Knife peeler, all the way, lol!

I have learned so much from watching your videos. You have gave me some good ideas.
I've always used a potato peeler. I no longer use the all metal ones I grew up using, but the OXO peeler with the rubber grip handle.
Lol we call that frog legs when our puppies lay like that😆😂 so cute! Thanks for all the meal prep inspo!👏🏼👍🏼 absolutely love it!💖

Oh, Paigey’s back legs sticking out on the kitchen floor is so cute!
I wash my potatoes first. Makes for a cleaner easier peel. And I used a Tupperware potato peeler. LOVE it.
I love the Taco Kits! Relax, you did great!! I've always loved your Pizza Kits. And I know we have all had our "Pasta? Not going to happen today" days with something! If I would have known how this years "Big Plans" for the Garden were going to turn out, I probably would have taken all my seed packs and dumped them right into the trash. LOL But we are Moms! We pull ourselves back up by our Apron Strings and get back on track! Because that is what we do! 😘💪🌮🍕
My dog is very nervous like that. I have him on trazodone which is a MIRACLE for anxious pets. Also not expensive. My vet prescribes and I get it thru Chewy delivered to my door, game changer.
Try a silicone stick bowl for toddlers for a feeding bowl! It won't move and won't make her nervous.
Hi I use a paring knife as I can't get in with a two blade peeler. I'm in the UK and there us just myself and my teen son. I am definitely going to do the taco and pizza kit. It will save us time and money to make 2 person kits for the freezer.
You are so natural, just love your video's ❤️
Freezer meals are the bomb. Frozen meatloafs and frozen bakes beans are a great start to a meal. I do baked oatmeal and freeze it for breakfasts. I am going to try some sausage gravy in the next couple of weeks and see how it freezes.
Love it. Makes life easier in a jiffy!👍🏽❤️
Thanks as always for sharing with tips& tricks. I cannot peel with a knife. Peelers work best for me.
I use the rotato potato peeler. You should get one . There awesome 🤩 love mine so quick and easy there peeled in no time . Sharon , 👍👌😊🙋🏻♀️
Great idea to soak up beef oil with a paper towel! I am always trying to drain it or scoop it out and it's a nightmare. Thank you!! Your dog is so cute!!!
I use a peeler but Jason usually uses a knife. Thanks for the mention sweet friend! Keeping it simple is important 😀

We haven't had fajita's in a very long time, boy watching your video made me want to make some up! I just use whatever bell peppers I happen to have on hand or what is cheapest in the store. Right now I have some beautiful green bells fresh and some yellow frozen. I'm thinking chicken fajita's sound great for dinner tonight! 😋
I love the taco kit idea!! I plan to make them and add shredded cabbage to add to the taco kits.
I use a potato peeler. I also use plastic bags but I wash them and reuse them. I use an expandable baby-bottle drying rack to dry the bags after I wash them. I also use a lot of deli-style plastic containers (both round and rectangular) for freezing foods. A baby-bottle brush, with a sponge on the tip, makes washing the insides of the bags easy. and quick
I enjoy your videos a lot thanks for the inspiration! I suggest you invest in reusable plastic bags? I suggest a food saver machine, the machine is fantastic for freezing everything!
Have a blessed day Kimmy and Fam💗
I’m a knife peeler as well…I’ve tried many times with vegetable peelers of different types but I always got back to my good old paring knife!

I would put red green yellow and orange peppers in it I like all the peppers My grandmother used to make stuffed peppers I love what you're doing gives me a lot of ideals
One tip I have for fast tacos is to buy pico de Gallo .. it has tomatoes/onions/cilantro and lime usually. So it's a fast easy way to get a lot of toppings in one purchase. Great video ! Thanks for sharing
We do rice all the time but it stuck to the bottom of our pot no matter what so we got a stainless steel bowl to put inside the instant pot and it works sooo good
These freezer meal kits are great!
I'm a flip.flopper too. My partner hates it 😭 so many good ideas will deffo do this. Much love from the U.K x
Yes I use a knife as well ..but a peeler for carrots 🥕
Awww! She does the frog legs laying🐾❤️🐾
Definitely use a peeler, could never get the hang of a knife. Omg We have the same sign in the kitchen! Just found your videos and that made it even better! 😀
I’ve been investing in reusable freezer bags. It will save so much money in the long run.

Have you ever browned your burger in the IP I have a steamer basket and I put water in the bottom and the grease drips out the steamer basket ya its a lil bit of a mess to clean up but I hate standing over a stove browning meat. Great video I hope you had fun at the tv show!
Great job 👏🏼 Ty , Sharon 👍👌😊🙋🏻♀️🌷🌹🙏
LOL! That dog. I have 2 cats like that. One is a kitten, about 9 months, and the other is 3 years. They will take turns laying on my mat in front of the sink. Such a great video. You know, sometimes you need plastic bags. I will wash the ziplock bags if they aren't super messy or have raw meat in them. P.S. I am the same way, just keep it simple but I just have to do more and more and more. Is it a New England thing? I love Lives little thingz. Correna is a great lady. Smart kids too. :)
You could put your sour cream and your salsa in snack baggies and just snip the corner off and use as a pastry bag for easy distribution on your tacos. (I know, it's more plastic bags lol)
Thanks for sharing.
Just 2 of us, and we small eaters. We buy canned chicken from Costco. Perfect size and. Does not get freezer burn. Love your meals.
Yes I love rotisserie chicken and using it for leftovers
Oh Kimmy! I need to remember KISS to sometimes! Throughout this video I just wanted to jump through and give you a hug and help you out in the kitchen. I hope you had a big long sleep after this. Much love from Australia!
I like a peeler. I cook for just me but I like your kits and I divide them into quart freezer bags. Now that your on local TV, the Food Network will be next. 👍🏻🤗
I have a husky who does the same thing as Paige. But mine is great at cleaning up any messes that happen if I drop anything. ;)
Lightly char the peppers to give them a smoky flavor before you freeze them, either the whole pepper if you have a gas stove (you can lay them right on the grate over the flame but watch them close and turn with tongs) or you can spread the slices (include onions if you want) on a sheet pan and broil them until they start to char.
I've only ever cooked IP rice for 3 minutes and 10min npr for less cooked like you mentioned I'd guess 2 minutes with 8 to 10 min npr but I've never tried it like that, I've frozen fully cooked rice and it cooks up fine.
I'd have snatched those noodles in the sink right up! Not the drain ones tho....lolol
Regarding peelers, it definitely depends on the peeler. Some are mind numbingly slow. My pampered chef peeler is very quick.
I use a peeler and put the scraps into my veggie broth bag in the freezer.
I use a food vacuum sealer it saves me more money in the long run
It took me a while to convert to a potato peeler, I use it like a knife I can’t use the short strokes, and it waste less potatoes. I just guide it around, try it you’ll like it.
Hi your freezing food looks amazing. However, I’m wondering how to reheat them and how these freezing meals taste? Thanks
I had a science teacher that used the KISS theory...I love your amendment to it! The meals look yummy! My husband WILL NOT order anything that he chooses if we go out with friends. He will pick whatever one of the other guys choose because there are usually too many choices for him and he just can't choose.
Love the taco kits! My kids’ favorite meal. I didn’t know you could freeze sour cream though. Does it come out the same?
Bake them until they are almost soft (need firmness for cubing or slicing; waxier potatoes are best); wrap them in a damp clean towel until just cool enough for you to handle. The jackets should slip off. Get a Rubbermaid basin that fits in your sink then place your strainer in the basin and pour the pasta into the strainer; helps prevent spillage into sink and allows you to retain the pasta water for your sauce or to use in soup.
The ziploc bags are completely recyclable! Here in california, a lot of stores have a recycle bin for them. They can't go in a regular house recycle can. I collect them in a grocery bag that is also only recyclable in the store collectable containers. If you recycle, that's something to look into.
Seeems like a big after school snack!
peeler for sure! You have to get a high quality super sharp one though and it can peel potatoes very quickly with little waste.
Love pages splayed paws when she's laying on her tummy
Can you give yourself some grace is doing an awesome job. Love watching you.Take care

hi, is ther an alternative method to use for the insta pot ? I RELLY HAVE ENJOYED WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS
When meat is partially still frozen I put the lid on the pan for a few seconds to a minute and it kinda of steams it and then you can chop the meat up.
When you wash rice, put it in a bowl with a little water and rub the rice between fingers, then empty milky water. To cook rice I do 1 volume rice to 2 volumes water. And I use the same cup for measuring both. Put the lid on rice and cook on 5 for 15 minutes without lifting lid. Et voila ❤️

I make rice in the instapot, super easy. Measure out rice a 1:1 ratio. Rinse it well if it is white rice it cooks for 5 minute under normal pressure. My pop has a rice setting but I change it to manual. Five minute rest then release pressure open it up and fluff from there. I have also tried the ginger knuckle method and it works too.
