My three year old daughter is disabled, she cannot walk or talk( the most she can say is Dad and Ga), so when I see her trying to dance ( kicking her legs in time to the music) and sing to your videos, it almost has me crying with gratitude. So, mr pianoman, you make me so happy with these videos. My grandfather is 80 years old and suffers from dementia and i visit him every day at the nursing home, he loves music and loves to dance a bit, so i put on a vid by you playing boogie woogie an the old man just goes crazy, he can barely walk but gets up from his chair and starts to move a little like he's trying to dance. And this makes me very happy, so thank you for these cool vids :D

This man is amazing and not just for playing a Rad piano. He brings so many smiles to people. Something that is drastically missing during this time when it is soooo needed. Thanks bro.

This is a “favorite”....I love it when the Lady says “makes me so happy”.....and is subsequently overwhelmed by BK’s “gifts”. Music makes the world go round.. it touches the heart, it makes you tap your foot, it makes you wiggle your tush, and most important- it makes you Smile. Kudos!

I’m an 82 year old Granddad, fortunately with all my faculties… My dad was a musician (double Bass in a big Band). Dr. K is the most talented pianist I have ever heard. I love the Boogie Woogie, but I would so much like to hear him Mash Brubeck’s Take Five.. 🎉

What is most incredible and alluring is his respect and talent for classics and blending it with raw fun Boogie Woogie . The crowds and young pianists go from pleasant classic sounds to clapping and laughing fun . I am convinced many of the students playing school pieces normally would quit playing upon graduation, but after he shows them how to experiment and have FUN, they will more likely enjoy playing for a lifetime.

I am always amazed that, people who have never heard of Boogie Woogie, smile when they hear it, and start to dance. Boogie Woogie is feel good music, and it makes people want to get up and dance. Mr. Kavanagh brings happiness to a lot of people, both in person, and on his videos. Thank you Mr. Kavanagh!

You're an inspiration to me as I learn to play piano. You're a pleasure to watch and listen to.

The purpose of developing the skill is to impart joy to the listener. Thank you. That being said anyone with this skill can jump in, displace another person and do just that. I think it takes an even more special skill to come up to someone who is learning and drop some hint or tip and have them walk away a better player than they were. THAT'S where I get joy in watching these types of videos.
