Thanks for the vid. I have an 04' Ram that finally needs the exhaust replaced. Yes, it really lasted 15 years! It sounded good with a few rust holes, but now it's obnoxiously loud. So, this weekend's project is to replace it from the cat back and change the OEM single to duals. I think I'll go with Flowmaster. Yours sounds BADASS! Kudos to Little Debbie -she rocks. I saw a video for this intake and the owner checked around 2 weeks after installed and found a lot of dust inside the filter, maybe already get into the engine.

JZ CH Yeah I saw that same video too, with these filters there’s two things that can cause that... #1 if it’s not properly seated in the grove all the way around and #2 you have to clean and oil them every 5,000 miles or so cause it is a ram air intake which gets dirt build up quicker. I’ve never had any issues by doing this, it’s little more maintenance but worth it if your looking for good power. 👍🏼

Those factory slip fittings have a tack weld on them. So they aren’t going to just slip off if you’re trying to take those off , and trying to get them loose, it won’t work. You have to pry those brackets apart after taking off the nut, and then wiggle them back and forth to break the tack weld. Its not too hard, but ya need to know it if you’re trying to slide them. I see in your vid you just slipped out the tail pipes from the muffler and front pipe. I sprayed th bolts and the fitting joints with liquid wrench several times in the week before. I have a 2015 I just did it on. But good video, thanks

Love dodge trucks. I own an 05 ram sport hemi. A 2015 ram sport hemi. And a 2015 ram bighorn hemi. All with dual exhaust. My 05 ram hemi has long tube headers with true duals and an H pipe, it has lots of bark... and lots of bite to back up that bark... hell yeah it's gotta Hemi!!!

Is it easy remove clamps on old muffler . I bought used Kit didnt have 2.5 clamps . Hoping to put Stock clamps on then FM american thunder??

Could not for the life of me get stock muffler off. Took to muffler shop and they ended up cutting old muffler out. Still totally worth it. 2017 with 24k miles.

Matt see my comment I added above. Those factory “slip” collars are tack welded on. They won’t slip off when you take out the bolt. They have to be pried apart and then wiggled to break the weld

I ya e a ram rebel 2019 and I want tondo this .. but I don’t want anything to noisy ... also u don’t want Tom much drone inside the cabin ... what is the best option for me?? Again a want to get a better exhaust sound but not to much noose

Does Flow Master have a direct fit system for a single outlet exhaust. I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn with a standard cab and with the single exhaust and I would like to put an exhaust on it that makes a bit of a rumble and opens the breathing up a bit for better performance. I don't see much available for that.

Sounds great now you need a pedal commander makes a world of difference
