Brush out dry, dont tease inwards, the creepy voluminous frizz effect is more powerful on our hair, bats nest last longer

@@isabelbelem9062 it’s not the hairstyle that’s the problem, it’s when I’m taking it down. My hair gets so knotted that when I comb it out chunks come out and it’s not really good for my hair

@@VonRyan18 try brushing in the bath after conditioning, or damp with hair cream, when my hair is super knotted, its works, I have thin hair so I have to be extra gentle

I'm jealous that when you tease your hair it will loosen on its own. Mine will stay and just get more ratty. If I don't brush it out, it gets knotted and I end up ripping my hair out when I go to brush it. I definitely have to brush out the back combing before I sleep on it. I love the look and the hairstyles though. I wonder if getting it chemically straightened would help or not, but I do like my texture sometimes when it wants to cooperate.

i have aboslutely 0 color pigment in my skin. i dont know about powder foundation, but i use shade ivory rose in the milani conceal longwear perfect concealer an i actually bake that with baby powder. doesnt make my skin feel cakey and it actually lasts a very long time. im very oily, and my makeup lasts up to 10 hours with the ocassional touch up on my nose. plus baby powder has little to no pigment so it doesnt darken my foundation, it actually lightens it.

I have long hair so I’m excited to try these cute hairstyles 🤭

My hair is too… idk how to describe it. My hairs too like, 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘺? For any of these styles to hold. I definitely couldn’t pull out little strands from the space buns , my hairs too heavy and straight for that to work like that. I’ve tried texture spray, texture powder, back brushing, my hair just WONT hold these styles or even take any form that somewhat similar 🥺

@@metavoid3441 I actually did try them once. Once 🥲 They just don’t stay. My hair doesn’t even hold a curl for more than five minutes either. It’s kinda like Asian hair, but light brown. Just impossible to get into a voluminous style. Suppose I’m lucky I never had to straighten it though, my best friend has natural corkscrew curls and hates it 😅

i have the same issue an baby powder at my roots and dragging it thru the ends saved my LIFE!! i use a little baby powder then spray my hair spray in, and tease while its still wet. its hard to take out but so worth. if youre trying to take it out after i recommend coconut oil at ur ends and then brushing❤

It does i have broke like five combs and i usually wash my hair four or five times to get the hairspray completely out, three or two times if im lucky lol.

If you do it often yes you're being harsh with you hair and rubbing it which causes breakage

It’s more so the brushing out that damages the hair because you’re essentially brushing through knots. If you use a spray conditioner (or a water bottle with a mix of water and the conditioner you use in the shower) and spritz it in to add some slip, and come from the ends up (instead of from the root to the tip) you can avoid most of the strain it puts on your hair
