I really appreciate this! I usually shoot wildlife but was recently asked to take photos at my GF's father's 75th birthday party. Way out of my comfort zone! The joys of being the guy who has a camera LOL! This is going to be helpful for sure! Subscribed!

Your tips are awesome! I use your tip about fitting a card into a flash from a previous video of yours, but I use 4x4 inch white cards I made from heavy glossy photo paper. Works great! I have one more hack for you. I was in a really blue room and need to use flash. I was wearing a white shirt so I basically used myself in my white shirt as a reflector and bounced my flash off me onto my subject! It worked! Thanks for all your time and effort making these videos.

Lord I wish I knew about you back when I got married at Addison Park in Keyport, NJ...absolutely beautiful venue but my pictures are lacking. In some we are over exposed and then shadows in all the wrong places...

Using TTL while bouncing? Does the flash know you’re bouncing the light?

It does because TTL measures the light that bounces back through the lens to determine the proper power setting
What if the white wall is on the complete opposite side of the venue, or location you are trying to shoot at? Locations where it’s all colors except white. Do you use other lights?
