Trying to go back and comment on all your videos, because I believe that it helps the channel with KZread's algorithms. Plus great video.

HINT: Its cheaper and often easier to just gut your polyester fluff out of an old pillow (or a cheap new one if you must). Obviously don't cut up your best quality one, but you can pick up a shitty cheap pillow for $5 and under at places like walmart or ikea if you don't have a spare laying around already. Those poly-fill bags can be kind of pricey because they are aimed at hobbyists and quilters, but the material is no different then what you find in a synthetic filled pillow.

More D&D players need to learn from wargaming like this. I've used several for BattleTech.

Dang, I've been looking for a simple, versatile build to add a little wow factor to my otherwise very bland but functional tabletop (I play at a store, so a bunch of big cool builds just aren't practical to transport), and this looks like the perfect build. The fact that it's so affordable makes it even better. Can't wait to see the looks on my player's faces when I bust these out.

That's so easy and really great. For some reason I always thought fire markers with light would be super complex. Thanks for making this.

43 seconds in. These are the best I've ever seen. Imagine how these look on the shelf just as they are at the 42-second mark. Wow, I'm doing this!!!!! Thanks man, You bring joy to life!!

When I did dioramas and model trains in my earlier yrs. My friend and I would use the big cotton stuffing you get in medicine bottles. We would use hot glue or super glue to glue the cotton to our torches or campfire bases. Once dry we would sculpt the cotton to look like smoke then paint the cotton with airbrush or dry brush the colors of fire, then with a spray bottle with diluted pva glue. Then once dry add our tea light or model train grain of wheat bulbs which were slightly smaller than LEDs. You can even paint on a very thin coat of thinned out red paint like acrylic or enamel to a white bulb if you cant find color lights to give the light a more red light. It works since they dont generate enough heat to burn or melt the paint.

Very, very cool. I would have not thought about that. But even with some colorful LED lights you can make some spell casting markers. Thank you for that inspiration!!!

So glad I found this. I have been looking for a tutorial on how to make these ever since I saw them being used in a Warhammer AOS game and thought they would be cool objective markers. Thanks for putting up the vid dude, it really helps.

I finally tried making these. Had the toilet paper bases out in the sun locked in a heated van for 4 hours maybe that wasn't enough, also I used tacky glue with water because I had no Elmer's so it was wrong in way too many levels hahaha. 5 out of 6 came out right, 3 of them were perfect (because the first method in the video is super simple and cool, the second one is too but harder to make). Anyways I'll probably try to make my next fire marker's base with foamular like the summon stones and the portals. Thanks for the tutorials 👍 they make my campaign glow with aesthetic
