Here's how to make the Fabulous Faux Cupcakes!
Supplies Needed:
Cupcake Tin
Cupcake liners
1 can of Expanding foam (Walmart $2.50)
DAP Fast n Final Spackle
1 piping tip - Large open star tip
1 piping bag
Optional Supplies:
Cupcake toppings- ground cinnamon, cinnamon sticks, star anise,
beads, glitter, etc
START:
1. Place cupcake liners in cupcake tin
2. Open Expanding foam (Follow directions to prepare to use)
3. Fill each cupcake liner half way with expanding foam.
4. Set aside to dry - about 24 hours
Faux Frosting:
5. Prepare your piping bag, by snipping the end and placing the piping tip in and putting into place at the bottom of the piping bag.
6. Fill piping bag with spackle.
7. Close top of bag and smooth spackle down towards the piping tip.
8. Use of the ready made cupcakes made with expanding foam.
9. Start piping around the edge of the cupcake and work your way around layering the piping ribbon higher to a point at the top center.
10. Decorate with optional cupcake toppings.
11. Set aside to dry for 12-24 hours.
12. Decorate and Enjoy!
