Easy & Fast PEACH COBBLER Recipe (Made With Canned Peaches)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Homemade cobbler filled with sweet juicy peaches and topped with a moist flaky crust. I fell in love with Peach Cobbler back in the 90’s as a kid when my mom use to always make it. This classic American desert is a must try. It taste great with ice cream and is the perfect dessert for movie night with friends or family so give it a shot!

This is my 5th time using this recipe for my family. It is always a HIT! You know it’s good when my 90 year old Southern mother says it’s the best! I tell her it taste just like hers, she says NO, this is the best! Thanks! I’m happy I chose your recipe before anyone else 🥰

I like my bottom crust a bit firmer/not as doughy, so I pierced it with a fork in a few spots and baked it in the dish for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned, let it cool, then put the peach mixture in and added the top. Great recipe!!!!

Just a tip: when you get ready to add the cornstarch put it in a cup and add a little water to make a slurry. That way when you pour it into the Hot Peach Mix it will not clabber or clump up. Love your recipe for this cobbler.

@@nitaw4687 If you notice those white clumps in his cobbler...it's the cornstarch he added directly. If he had made the slurry and slowly added it then it wouldn't have clumped up. Search Tempering Liquids back into Food. This explains a lot too.

That crust is spectacular ! The "flatness" isn't important ! I liked how neatly the squares looked ! The most uniformed cobbler I've ever seen. It's the preaches which look like sweet potatoes ! You can imagine how sweet they taste ! ... but that crust ! --- Unbeatable ! Great job !!

I love your take on peach cobbler. I don't usually put a pastry dough on the bottom unless I blind bake it first, otherwise you end up with an uncooked or undercooked gummy mess at the bottom. My peach mixture goes straight into my pie pan. I save my pastry dough for the top. I add confectioners sugar with cinnamon on the top.

I have been cooking for over 40 years, and I know for a fact, it doesn't matter what kind of utensils you use, if,you can cook, you can cook! Blessings to you! Stay encouraged! I have been making mine pretty much the same way FOREVER. IT'S EASY PEASY and DELICIOUS AS CAN BE!! Differences: I use 3 cans of peaches, NO NUTMEG. Only cinnamon, ground cloves and mace and dump everything in pot from the git-go. I whisk my cornstarch into juice I set aside, then add to pot (prevents lumps). We LOVE THE DOUGH and CRUST ❤️❤️!! So I add dough to dish, then a layer of peaches, then another layer of dough, the rest of peaches and finally the top crust!!

I love collard greens. I first had them hitch hiking from camden NJ to Florida, im 65 years old i was about 12 or 13 then. Stopped in Alabama I believe, & the lady chef put something hot in the collard greens. The 18 year old withme wouldnt eat them. She was from Pennsylvania. I took hers & could of eaten the whole 55 gallons pot if they'd let me. I know know the spicey flavor was mustard greens. Ive been searching for that recipe all my life. I grew up the black sheep, beaten, & in trouble 24/7. That dish of collard greens was the best thing to happen that whole decade. Running away to a new home. Left my dad & evil step mother. To live with my beautiful tall, unbelievable mother, we both ended up in adult education, her goung back, to relearn what her identical twin, took twice, & me lieing about my age, 13 years old, 6' 2" tall said i was 19 . Got a ged & pushed by a Bathoon cookmen college 🎓 math profesor, to not be illiterate. Education, opens doors, so we can help & educate each other. God bless that man, that professor, a Nubian God, a 👑 king.

Yep they call that making a slurry. This guy has so much natural talent & his mind is full of new intentions, he hasnt been pinned in, & told "no, that is the wrong way to do that". There for he sees everything in a totally different way very definatly.

Unfortunatly i dont think quality of awesome food is what they are looking for. If it were we'd have great chefs everywhere from watching the cooking chanel. It's the opposite. But God's love, & his talent shines through. When a "great chef" is acknowledged, by his "peers", & so many, like myself, clammor to be his students, & learn all his recipes', that is the highest complement. Improving our taste buds, & dinners, one "you tube" person at a time. You can't hide the truth, like a huge candle under a basket.

The corn starch is just to thicken the syrup. Do it in a cup with water to make a slurry, so that your syrup comes out smooth.
