    I just love your pattern tutorials! I too LOVE texture. This one though, magnificent! I've gone off the rails, made 2 of these shawls, connected them together to make a cardi? Added sleeves...no idea what I'm doing, but loving the process and your calm, steady voice. Thank you Carrie! ❤

    I have weight 5 yarn that I am looking to use up! I’m gonna use a 6.5mm hook and do less rows. I’m excited to see how it turns out

    Hi Carrie, lovely to see you back. Layers and Autumn are my favourites. I have crocheted so many of your designs. I would love to see a V neck sweater - with easy neck? (not ribbed and sewn together - always looks messy when I do it). Maybe add the bobble sleeves? (oooh, loved that pattern and my best friend, me and my mum are wearing these).

    Absolutely love this shawl. It’s so beautiful. Can’t wait to make this. Thank you for another amazingly awesome tutorial. Your teaching method is Top Notch. The items you make are stunning. I was thinking that this shawl would look so pretty with matching leg warmers. Would you ever consider making a tutorial on how to crochet women’s leg warmers? Thank you again. Enjoy your day. This is so beautiful, would love to see you do a snuggie ( Baker with sleeves) that was out few years ago but would love to crochet one for myself so it's long enough instead of just going to my shiner wide enough to go around me all the way; I did not go into stores so did not see any only described to sister and she found me a medium one but I would like a larger one have never tried a ( sweater) pattern as I am a newbie to crochet having mostly doing blankets, scarves throws, afghans,

    Hi there! I’m making one of these in a beautiful emerald green for a friend for Christmas, and it’s coming along beautifully! Pattern is very easy to follow. However, each second row of puff stitches doesn’t….puff. I assume because there’s a right side and wrong side for that stitch. I’ve tried pushing from the back to see if I can get them to pop out the other side, to no avail. Is there some trick to this I’m missing??

    So I’m confused! Are you working across to start with? Then turning work and working the long way ?

    You have to make the "border" first by 8 chain crochet, and do that for about 110 rows, it gets very long. After that you put the double-crochet into the long sides and go from left to right so it becomes a scarf

  • @robertazacharias7766
    @robertazacharias7766 Жыл бұрын

    Ok not confused anymore the ribbing is acting as a border right?

    I’m fairly new to crochet. Please help! I’m doing the Cain 9, but it seems very thin to me. It doesn’t seem to be building in width, but more in length… WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???

  • @LuminetheoneandHOLY

    the chain 9 is like a border, like a long snake that hangs over your body, this is for the length of the scarf. The width of the scarf then gets added as you go from one long side to the other. And then it's no longer like a snake but like a wide scarf. If that makes sense. In the video she does only make a tiny practice piece and not the full length, so it looks different.
