My first yarn craft was knitting! However, I found crochet and fell in love, I do still knit though. I just don't seem to have the patience for knitting much these days. I just love this

I am just about finished with this! I just have to sew the pockets, buttons and put the fringe on. Im thrilled with how it turned out. My favorite thing about it (believe it or not), is the ribbed stitch. I can knit some and love the looks of knit but prefer crochet because I am so right handed. Thanks Carrie ❤️

Janet Ferman , you don’t edge the top , you edge the sides, I did only a couple of rows because I used thicker wool, hope that helps and it does lay flat xxx

The last two I’ve made, I’ve used a wobble stitch (sc, ch one, dc in same stitch) every other stitch on last row of rim. It lays better on neck and gives a more feminine look. That’s just my opinion. It’s a great pattern.
