for these little pieces of trim I would use just the Loctite power grab glue. you don't need nails and this avoids filling holes

They’re Metrie products. You can check who carries Metrie trim in your area.

It’s a return cut. Makes an open end like that look much more finished. It’s actually a really easy cut. If you Google “how to cut a trim return” there are a bunch of good videos on it.

Love it !! But I have no idea what chair rail or moulding etc whatever its called, to buy and ive asked a couple times at the box stores and they bring me to these kits that seem really over priced. Thanks!

The stuff I used is from Metrie. If you go to their website you can see all the different options and you can see where it’s available in your area. Hope that helps.

Are you nailing into studs? Or just on nailing for the glue to set?

He cannot possibly be hitting studs on every shot, not that he needs to for a 2 ounce strip

Always found it odd that people put this sort of thing on their walls. I think it looks terrible. Not dissing your skills just wainscoting in general.

Oh well good thing it's their house. Hopefully we stop seeing lifeless houses just because someone may not like it.
