Do you have vintage furniture that looks a little worse for wear or you’ve inherited a piece of furniture that could do with some TLC but have NO IDEA how to restore furniture?!
Then this is the video for you!
With just 3 products and zero skills, you can get your furniture looking AMAZING once more 😍
Step 1 - clean thoroughly using a degreasing cleaner (like dish detergent) and a scrubby pad. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and leave to dry.
Step 2 - apply Howard Restor-A-Finish using 0000 steel wool. Apply it in sections, and wipe back the excess with a paper towel or cloth. 0000 is a super fine steel wool that won’t damage your furniture but will help to get the Restor-A-Finish into the wood grain and hide all those scratches and imperfections. There are a variety of shades of Restor-A Finish so you can find the one best suited to the wood tone of your furniture.
Step 3 - apply Howard Feed-N-Wax using a soft cloth and leave it to soak in for 20 mins. After that, buff off the excess with a soft cloth.
And voila, you have furniture that looks AMAZING and smells like oranges!! Win, win 😊👌

Eh, as long as it's saving something off the side of the road from ending up in a landfill, it's fine. Now, I have seen a few channels that pay a pretty penny just to paint over the wood that made it cost so much in the first place🤦♀️ Now that I'll never understand, unless maybe it's for your own home. It still feels wrong tho😂

We are going to be using this on our kitchen cabinets but we got the restor-a-finish in a darker color than our cabinets.

They have different shades of Restor-A-Finish, so just go with the one that matches closest to the wood you will be working on 😊👍
How long does it last?
Transformational.
However, not removing and cleaning the hardware seems lazy. Otherwise; thank you for not slapping chalk paint. All over it. Real wood furniture is getting scarce 😮😮
Did you use anything special to clean it? About to undertake the restoration of a dresser myself, don’t want to make any mistakes

I just used a degreasing cleaner (fairy liquid) and warm water, then made sure to wipe it all down with clean warm water so there was no cleaner residue 😊👍
I liked this video, thank you, but hated that repetetive music, which I found unnecessary and distracting.
