Easy DIY Router Table

Today we are turning and old paint cart into a router table!
I have used this cabinet box for many things before turning it into a router table. It was initially just a practice cabinet that I cut out on the CNC when I first purchased mozaik cabinet software for CNC’s. Then my Kreg foreman sat on top of it for a while. Then I used it to sit my tile saw on and cut tile for my bathroom renovation. And latest job it had was a paint stand with a lazy Susan.
I think this is it final job lol 😂! I highly doubt I will be using it for anything else after this, but who knows? It is only four screw away from another transformation lol!
I start this job out by designing the pocket cutout in vcarve pro. All of this can be done without a CNC but I’m paying a lot money that tool, I better use it every time I can lol 😂
Once the CNC has done its part, I assemble everything and create some extra after thought parts, like supports for the fence and dust collection.
I made this router table specifically for making raised panel 5 piece cabinet doors. This will be my second router table to go along with my Harvey Shaper. This will allow me to make raised panel cabinet doors without having to switch router bits and reset the heights.
