    I just made this. It's cute. Plus it was fun to make because I can't sew lol. I made mine with a handheld sewing machine lol. I just wish I knew how to tie the corners.

    @@itsTerreana Do you think you could make the entire thing with fabric glue instead of sewing???? Since I don't sew well it took me an entire day to make lol.

    You "can" but it won't hold up as well and once the glue dries it leaves a film on the fabric. I'm working on another version that may help. I'm testing it out for a while first though. I want to make sure it is good before I post it.

    you can use permanent fabric glue. it comes in a white tube, dries clear, and doesn't leave a stain. ive used it for many many sewing projects. they even have a permanent iron on option, which is once u apply the glue u go over with an iron. I love that glue because it is actually permanent

    Wow! I’m so happy you loved the video. For the bow I just took two corners and tied them together, then I fluffed it out a bit. Mine is large enough to make a full cute bow. I hope that makes sense 😂

    I absolutely loved this tutorial. I attempted to make it, and it turned out really nice. The only downside was that it was too big. Do you have any other measurements for a smaller bonnet?

    Yay! I’m so happy you did. I don’t have measurements for a small bonnet right now. I kinda just went off an old one I got from Sally’s as a guide. I will be working on some other styles. I’ll make a “note to myself” to write down different size variations. For this one and others in the future. Thanks for watching 💕

    its Terreana That would be awesome. I ended up tinkering with it a little. I cut out all the seams, and cut the width down to about 26”. This was PERFECT! I can’t wait to make another one. I put it on a mannequin head, and she is looking stylish! Thanks again. I’m a new subscriber 🤗

    So...question...with it being an rectangle...did you close the corners or did it happen naturally from the casing? I usually make circle bonnets for myself and family but this one is super adorable... and just concerned that the corners will be left opened

    Only the inside is satin. You can use any material you like for the outside.

    I’m not too particular, but I used 100% satin material. You can use silk or rayon mixes as well. As long as it is soft it will work fine.

    I don’t currently have measurements for a child. This one is customizable, so the best way to get the right size is to measure the child’s head and make adjustments from there. I’m working on getting different measurements for this bonnet. It’s just a bit difficult finding the fabric I need here in Guam.

    It is about 19 1/2 inches. It’s best to measure your head and adjust it from there.

    I think a 1/2 yard would be fine as the bonnet is large. To be sure of the size I always suggest to measure your little ones head to make sure you don't make it too small or big.

    Hi there, did you use a yard total counting both pieces of fabic ? Or two half of yards in each color totaling 1yard? Are is it 1 yard for each piece of fabic total 2yards?

    Thinking of making one for my daughter, but obviously she wouldn't need to it be "full sized". Would you suggest taking off maybe 6 inches or so? She's 4, but has a big head like her mama 🤣

    Lol Awwww! I would honestly just measure little ones head size and deduct from there. When you are making your pattern check the size as you go to make sure it is not too big or small. Hope this helps. XO

    I haven’t had any issues. Most irons have appropriate fabric settings. I find I don’t even need to iron it when I machine wash and dry it.
