is it okay if I use bioten skin moisture micellar water?
I have not tried that one but any micellar water should work. If there’s extra moisturizers in the formula it “may” leave your brushes a little oily. Try one and let me know how it works for you.

Wow! I’m so happy you loved the video. For the bow I just took two corners and tied them together, then I fluffed it out a bit. Mine is large enough to make a full cute bow. I hope that makes sense 😂
Love the eye makeup. The bright colors are great. My good thing is that I spent a few days with your in-laws at the beach! We went garage sale shopping while the guys went fishing and I got a few really great treasurers. We played cards and even hit the hot tub. Such a fun mini vacation.

Spent the last three days sewing with my friends. One of the ladies was in the Air Force and has been to Korea and Japan several times while in the service. We spent some time talking about how great the food is in Japan and I was informed that Ramen Noodles are not at all like Top Ramen here in the states. Do you like them? I like Top Ramen - would I like Japanese Ramen?
Sounds like a nice time! Yes, ramen is delicious here. Different parts of Japan make the broth and noodles differently. There’s many variations and toppings. I think you would enjoy it. Even the prepackaged ramen is very different from Top Ramen. No comparison, other than it’s noodle-like 🤣

That is a Very Good thing! I love cards, too. It is so special to keep friends from your childhood - the connection is so deep and it somehow keeps you grounded and reminds you to be true to yourself. My one good thing this week, besides Tim getting a good report from his eye doctor is also old friends. Our friend Bruce, who has been friends with Tim for 50 years or so cane over yesterday to play cards and for lunch and dinner.
Good to hear about Tim’s progress. Wow 50 years, that’s incredible! You are absolutely right about friendships.
My one good thing is that no matter what we have always kept communicating throughout the years. You have been the reason for much of my growth a maturity in my life. I am so grateful for what we have. You are truly an inspiration my friend ❤🙏🏽

I remind my husband every day how awesome I am. 😂 Seriously, I work at appreciating the little things that he does for me, like making sure there is coffee every morning when I get up. I make sure his soup is ready (with the veggies picked out😂) when he walks in the door for lunch. These little acts are I love yous. Take time for a hug every day!

That is so great. As our kids grow and we are no longer the only or even the greatest influence in their lives it becomes harder to maintain a close, loving, intimate relationship with them. Good for you for making it a priority. It is important to notice the "crumbs" your loved ones drop. Sometimes they are little crumbs - a dumb "Dad" joke that you actually groan at instead of ignore. Ignoring it is leaving the crumb on the table - the groan acknowledges that you are paying attention. Sometimes it is honoring what seems to be a silly request (please leave the left hand sink free of dishes so I can get a drink of water when drinking water comes from the refrigerator) sometimes it is a bigger thing ( I really need to talk this problem out and I only want you to listen. Don't solve it for me.) Relationships are hard but the best ones are worth the work. My one good thing this week is pretty big. Tim had eye surgery today and it went well. BUT...he has to be face down for a week, and that is already proving to be hard. We have the special equipment to make it easier, but he is not one to sit still for long and is already uncomfortable.

I’ve NEVER heard of having to be face down for a week for eye surgery! That’s insane. I don’t know how or if I could even do that. Good luck to him. I hope for a speedy recovery 😩

I went to a "stash busting" sale at a friends this week and got a LOT of fabric for a really good price. It is sad because she is moving away, but it was a good thing because I could help her reduce the amount she was having to move and I got to add to my stuff.

So, a few weeks ago you posted about stress relief gummies (I ordered some and have just started taking them) but just talking about products got me to finally do something I'm so proud to have done. I snagged a real deal from Amazon on environmentally friendly laundry sheets. I'm passionate about recycling and it's just been on my mind to be better. Was going to post a picture but don't think I can here in the comments. It's so frustrating that eco friendly products have to be so expensive, but I got 80 sheets for just over $7.00! Usually they are $15 so deal! Anyway, excited to get rid of the big plastic jug and give these a try! Every little bit helps.❤😊

Bring Kombucha back next time you come. I'd love to try it. My one good thing this week is that I got to babysit Auggie and Abby yesterday and today. Not such a good thing for Jill's mother who normally does the child care on Thursdays and Fridays because she came home from Costa Rica sick, but I got to spend time with those adorable littles.

I'm glad you found something simple that helps. The Nature Made items are available everywhere - even at Grocery Outlet! My one good thing is that we got a new furnace! Our furnace and heat pump died about a month ago, and it is so nice to have good, reliable heat. We heated with space heaters - and during the coldest weeks of the year. Haven't seen the electric bill, yet. I may need some of your gummies when it comes.

I got gel nails for the first time. I’d like feedback if these are safe?
Gel nails look pretty but I find that they can make the natural nails weak with time. As far as UV lights I’ve read that it’s best to use sunscreen on the hands before using them for protection similar to sun exposure outside.

Missed you last week. They renamed Wilson High School in Portland Ida B Wells High School. My one good thing for this week and last week - we got set up for a new heat pump/ furnace and they will install it next week! Good thing because we are currently heating with space heaters and I am NOT looking forward to the electric bill this month. Second good thing - we ordered new living room furniture! And it will only take 6 month to come in (LOL) So we will have new furniture in July.
