Easy Catching FUN Size Peacock Bass in Florida

NEW CFA STORE creekfishingadventures.store/ Florida Trip Part 5. This was from my 2nd day of fishing in the everglades right outside of Miami, Florida. I had found a few places that was loaded with aggressive peacock bass. This is from 2-3 hours of fishing. They were so much fun to catch and the way they hit a small bass feels like a giant. I don't know how many areas had this many fish but this section was just loaded and it was easy to catch several of them.
Location- Everglades national park/ right on the Miami side

Excellent. I have gotten so fed up with this winter in the Midwest I am grabbing the boat, running to Southern Florida and will be fishing and sleeping in my SUV if I have to in a week. Kinda like when I was young. I used to go to Florida and stay till I only had enough money for gas to get back. Loved every trip. Zero regrets.

@Hugo Adrian Wilkins 100% serious. They are not native, but that does not make them invasive.

@Hugo Adrian Wilkins You clearly don't know the definition of what an invasive species is. You've already made yourself look ignorant and uneducated. I suggest you go look at the fwc list of invasive species, learn what an invasive species is, and then learn about the fish. Once you do this you'll see that these fish aren't invasive.

Born and raised in Nashville. Stationed in Homestead from 1987 to 1992, Andrew said leave... anyway, all but thelargemouthes were all invasives, the Dracula looking one was a Jaguar chichlid and a little one at that. so were all those peacocks. honestly want bigger fish, go closer to Miami, like right off the intercoastal waterway. 10 lb peacocks, 15lb snakeheads are everywhere. but good to see a fellow Volunteer getting to do what I miss so much..
