What’s really messed up is this is still taught as a whole class in itself. My school called it consumer mathematics. The problem is that it’s used as a last resort math class for kids who are “going nowhere”.

I'd love to see more budgeting videos! We watch your videos often in my house and it's inspired us to do better at meal planning and being intentional.

I still use your old way of grocery planning with the little book where your meal plan is on one side and the grocery list is on the other side. It's been a game changer for me! Love your videos!!! I also love your budgeting tips. We don't have debt except our house, but we have a lot of things to save for this year so this budgeting will still help us out a lot. ❤️

This is something I suffer with. My idea of meal planning is "check the fridge and make something' I'd love to learn efficiency in this area. I usually just buy what's on sale or BOGO and then go from there... but sometimes we throw away fruit & veggies. UGH. Anyway.. I Guess I need the title of that video or the link. Thanks in advance!!!

great advice. I paid off credit card debt going from smallest one and once I paid that off then that money went towards the next credit card. In 1 1/2 years I paid off 7 credit cards. My husband has an extra savings for emergencies.

You had shared on a previous you tube session on the challenge you are having with heartburn. I have found that when I chew on papaya enzyme tablets, that I ordered from Amazon, the heartburn is so much easier. It’s much healthier than the Tums. I chew maybe 4 at a time to relieve the burning feeling. I hope this will make you feel much better. You are helping us all stay on our food budget. Thank you for the time you share with us!!! We are broke. Short on rent this month. We watch every single dime. We decided to go from CA to AZ to see my dad with Alzheimer's & stayed at my cousin for 3 nights & 2 days. Broke as a result. Hubby started a small business in March of 2020 & we lost everything-no loans or assistance. Prayers. He works part time at church & I work as a teacher aide at a high school. I have great health insurance. At a loss of what to do.

Friend of mine over in GC taught me a little electricity, a little plumbing, a little of several useful things. One of them was just because there's 10, 15 grand cash sitting in the bank doesn't mean you should find something to spend it on. The first time we went to Springfield to the RR retirement office I found out his retirement check was a little over 1800 a month. That was 1994. He married another friend of mine and she thought they should spend the money on this and that. He resisted because he was covering the food, the mortgage, the cars, the maintenance, etc. Bought her a 91 Cadillac Eldorado w/27,000 miles in 97. I remember how much it was. So anyway he kept a set of books and compared month to month finances and also yearly. Sometimes we'd "practice" resisting want. I practice it a lot and so does my mother. Just because you have or just because you can get the money doesn't mean you should. It takes awhile to get it back. But now unlike Congress who waits until the last moment possible and then threatens not to pay their bills that's not what I mean. I have fired off some letters to some congressmen and have asked them to refuse to pay their bills in the coming months. Just throw a damn tantrum and refuse to pay their obligations. Just stupid. (But if it's something they want and something they obviously get big kickbacks from they say kick it out of gear, spend!. An argument can easily be made either way also helps the economy. But if you don't pay, if you threaten not to pay, in order to not spend 4 trillion it'll end up causing about 7 trillion. How do I know? Simple. Just look back in history and the aggregate expenses in order to try to get it going again. ) I'm having ham, bologna, salami.. and if I don't change a dirt nap.

I would suggest keeping it in a location you frequent often, like bed side table, kitchen area, office, etc. :)
