Came up with a good solution to hold the glue bottle.....so because I often buy my Kleenex for our nightstands in the cylinder style....once the Kleenex was gone I decoupaged the tube, then threw a few garden stones into the inside for weight and woohoo.....a perfect holder for the glue bottle and so much prettier than just a plastic water bottle😉

Oh Pam you are fantastic . You make me laugh when I am crying in pain . I thought I was going to choke to death when you said you sewed your cord in , I laughed out load . I love this vedio . I can make this I believe . My grandson who I raised since he was 16 , went to a garage sale and they had a bunch of material . So he asked the lady how much she wanted for all of it . She gave him a price and he bought it all for grandma . I really wondered what I was going to do with 2 large totes full and 2 large boxes full of all kinds of material . I thought of quilts but when I saw this ,I decided I would make some of these . Thank you so much for your videos . I love , love , love all of them . Thanks

Hi, Pam! It's been awhile since I've been been by.... Life... But I LOVE this idea. This solves a small "clears throat* printing mistake I made printing some pages for my bullet journal. Since getting into this stuff a few years ago, I find it hard to throw away anything. My family even shows me their used envelopes! So I couldn't throw away those pages I printed, especially because I couldn't figure out how to print them right! Lol this type of binding solves that AND makes it look gorgeous. Thank you! Oh, and I'm with you on the impatient crafter! Maybe we should form a support group!

Love this! I watched lots of junk journaling videos, mostly yours, yesterday and ripped two old books apart, but I cut the spine on one, so I separated the back and front and plan to lay them out to glue one big piece of fabric to the front and back leaving room for a fabric spine, then sew in signatures, and sew to the binding.

If you want to keep your bobbin thread and the top thread on the respective sides (front or back) you can adjust your tension. You could use a heavier needle or a speciality needle (like maybe a leather or "heavy-duty" needle to sew more layers or the same number of layers of heavier fabric. I'm not good at making junk journals (but learning) but not so bad at sewing. Love, love, love your videos and listening to you "think out loud. You sound out loud like I think in my head! thanks for making my day every time I listen.

Such a great idea! And simple to do proving you don’t have to make things complicated for them to be successful. At one point you said you should stop “blabbing” - never stop blabbing Pam. Thank you 😊💐

New to your channel and to junk journaling. I used this video to make Mother's Day cards for the moms in my life. This was easy to follow and I love how the cards came out! Lots of room to personalize and add fun little pockets. I am going to make some of these for myself next! Thank you for this great idea!!

Watching you do those little pockets and sealing the bottom with the fabric made me think you could take plastic file pockets (or any see through plastic) and bind them the same way you did the entire project folder…then they would be mixed in with cardboard (to stiffen the folder) for even more ephemera pockets.
