I just found your channel and love it. The Easy Barbacoa recipe looked so good I couldnt wait to try it, however, unfortunately I didn't have a chuck roast and was too impatient to go to the store so I followed the recipe exactly with a couple modifications. #1 I used chicken instead of beef and #2 I used the Instant Cooker instead of Crock Pot - let me tell you it turned out AMAZING!! I also made your chipotle sauce with the leftover peppers, it was sooo good and a perfect way to top the tacos off (gonna use the extra sauce soon for the chipotle shrimp recipe). I served it with cilantro/lime rice which made for a great meal. Can't wait to try it with beef next time, as well as, trying more of your creations. Thank you.

God I love your recipes and channel. You take really complicated things and make them so pure and simple. Seriously the only one around with that kind of style! I thought you lived on a farm because you respect the nutrients and value in the foods so much but I can’t believe u live in LA!

This is a version we will be trying very soon! We always take our tortillas, dip them in the juice, place on a flat top with a little bit of cheese, some meat, fold in half and fry on both sides - Birria style! So much cheaper than Taco Tuesday for a whole family.

Hi Lisa. Thank you for sharing this recipe - looks fantastic. If I don’t have a slow cooker can this recipe be done in a LeCreuset Dutch oven on top of the stove on low for the 9 hours that I said?!

I haven't personally, but I've heard you can cook it in there as well with the pressure cooking on high for about 1 hour 😊
