I think it's silly when people say "you should have done this, or that." It's his painting. If you want something different, then hire him to paint for you. I like it just the way it is. This is a particularly appealing piece to me. I am going to try to do it too. Thanks for the video Suraj.

Am I the only one that loves textured paintings? It's just so cool to be able to look at it and feel the bumps and textures of the paint.

springing into fall by the river. haha thats what i see in this beauty . why are people trying to correct it, art is how ever the artist want it. its beautiful. i love it.

This is an example of how heaven looks like. Using warm and cool colors with a wet reflection of white, black and blended. I guess you should paint the borders as well for a perfect tableau.

This is sooo relaxing & satisfying to watch 🧡

you know if you tilt it on either sides you either get a lake with a fiary sky or a dessert with an open sky and some fauna.

It's so satisfying and relaxing to watch! Thank you! I don't know for others but I see (imagine) a sunset in your painting. Maybe yes?, maybe not? But it's great artwork. 💕💕

Fabulous painting....first tym seeing this type of painting...😍😍😍😍😍❤

I find that I dislike that these are labeled as “easy” abstract paintings. Sure what he’s doing isn’t necessarily difficult, but there is still a lot that goes into making a piece like this particularly eye appealing. Such as color/pallet choice, the texture he scrapes into the paint, or hand technique/pressure that are all not necessarily intuitive. It comes from having a certain artistic eye and practicing. I feel like “easy” doesn’t do it justice. Simplistic or minimalistic, maybe, but easy implies that anyone can pick this up and do it themselves and it’ll turn out just as beautiful and detailed. Plus, in my opinion, it undermines the craftsmanship in the art.

Morgan Purnell No. Easy is not the exact word for this. I find simple to be a far more fitting word. Sure it’s real “easy” to put a bunch of paint down and spread it around and have it turn out looking like a straight mess. It takes an artistic eye and talent to use a good pallet and spread it cleanly and evenly enough and make it look nice. Abstract art isn’t easy it’s simple.

Travis Bennett well you make a valid point but when you think about it the technique he is using is very simple and yes it may be more challenging it is very possible that someone who has minimal art talent (like me) can do this and get very lovely results, I do understand your point of view though.

めっちゃいい！これ！ なんて言うか…赤とオレンジだけだとちょっとあれだけど、黄色とエメラルドグリーンと紫が入る事で少し落ち着いた明るさが出てる！白もまた落ち着きを出しててだけど目立ってる感じがめっちゃ好き！👍♡ 紙に絵の具で描くのとまた違って、パレットに色を塗り広げて、乗せてくって感じなのかな？ やってみたい！今度家具に色つける時やってみようかな

Areebah Zaidi if you're looking to start I'd suggest some student grade paints. It should be achievable with either acrylic paints or oil - i.e. probably not the kind he is using , hehe. Incase you try it and it isnt really your thing/you dislike it.

You can use any heavy body paint and a butter knife. If you don't have the kind of butter knife that looks like this palate try using a pie server or bend a spreading knife so the handle is lifted at an upward angle.
