The Kampf contract isn't great, I would have gone 2yrs max or let him walk. Keefe is back cause the guy Treviling wants isn't available now. Keefe's on a short leash will have to earn an extension, this lame duck narrative for a coach is nonsense. Cary Price not remembering the kids name or at least having it written down was a sad look for him and the Habs organization..ouch! The Habs have built a mid team that doesn't look like its going anywhere..Leafs draft pick could have been taken in the 2nd round, they probably could have traded down and still got him along with an extra mid-round pick.

So many staff in this organization is still loyal to Dubas, it would be surprising if anything of value was recommended to him to draft. Considering Bonk and Perreault went right before they probably had nothing left to pull. A better strategy would have been to draft a goalie.
