I was tired of trying to prop my crossbow and / or my gun up against a steady object to keep the crosshairs steady and still not being able to hold it steady enough to determine whether the scope was off or if was just me moving all over the place. I then purchased a Caldwell Solo gun rest / mount. This Caldwell Solo is fully adjustable at several points making it easy to get on target and stay there. It allows you to strap your gun or bow in for extra stability. This thing sped up my time zeroing in on my target.
Aim at the middle. If the arrow or bullet hits off target don't move your gun or bow. Just move your crosshairs from the middle to where the arrow or bullet hit BY ADJUSTING THE SCOPE. After the crosshairs are on the arrow or bullet hole, re-aim at the center. You should be on.
