It's a pity. The set-list of the gig is a dream, at the very beginning of the 1970s the band is at its peak, but nevertheless this concert is an offence. The sound is really atrocious. Especially the drums and the rhythm guitar-parts are much too loud, whereas the vocals and the solo-instruments are far too weak. The two bonus-tracks from Paris, a few months later, on the double-lp from 2015 give an example how brillant the live-sound of East of Eden's complex music could be. But that's a small comfort.
