On-board the 19:28 East Midlands HST from Nottingham to St. Pancras, where I decided to film from Leicester onwards on Saturday 7th June 2014. I realised I've not posted a video of my train journey, particuarly "window hanging" shots for a while, so I thought what better opportunity than on an East Midlands HST!

I'm a technical rider for emt on the hst sets and they have a vp185 engine
love it :)
Apparently EMT hsts have a Valenta engine instead of MTU

Its not a Valenta, its called a VP-185. Not as loud as a valenta and not as quiet as a MTU.
